Hmm could at least have given Walcott 90+ for Speed/Acceleration, he may be young but hes got going to improve his pace as he ages, ands hes by far the quickiest player i've ever seen.

you can tell the gameplay has been tweaked up alot smoother than pes5 graphics pretty much the same playing the computer is like playing a friend the ai is very impressive this is by far the best pro evo so far feels like a mixture of 4 and 5 maybe this should of been pes5 then we would be playing an even better game now.

I'm using HDAdvance 2.1 and I Have tried all modes on WE10 but It just freezes at the ''video'' point. So you can say that it does start but it freezes at the point were the video is supposed to be.

layed my first 4 games just now. Wow what a change.

First thing I have to say is that dribbling is back!! Players like Ronaldinho will dribble rings around the defence and puts them to shame. Its now easier to out dribble your defender as well as out pace him.

Defending is more difficult as a result. If you miss a tackle or make a mistake in defence you will be punished! I played against Barca in my second game, and on the counter numerous times, with Ronnie and Eto screaming towards my defence is very dangerous.

Passing is spot on, the L1+Triangle is now a very dangerous pass and the flow of the game is very smooth. Makes for some very beautiful football to watch.

Shooting animations are superb, as well as animations in general. Keeper has a few new saving animations which look pretty slick. They have been toned down though, so it is easier to score, but I love how they can now save the ball with one hand. Taking a few cracks outside the box, the keeper really stretches for it. Just when you think you've beating him, his hand just touches it enough to change the direction. Beautiful to watch.

My only gripes with it so far, is that it is a bit too fast. If it was slowed down a tad it be spot on. Ball speed and the weight is near perfect and running at full speed is good, but some of the dribbling animations are too quick. Players seem to snap direction instantly. If some of them could do it like Ronnie, C.Ronaldo etc then it be fine, but not everyone.
At one point, Beckham was out dribbling my defenders which looked and felt wrong.

Overall though a big improvement over 9. This probably should have been what WE9 was supposed to be.

Umm... guys? Could we have another thread for these stats/face/stadion/boot/other related crap-requests. It's pretty frustrating trying to find some actual INFO about the game from one thread.

I gotta say that I'm a bit alarmed by the reports that they've made defending harder. Don't get me wrong, I like attacking football, but I hope it doesn't mean 5+ goals in every match. PES5 was hard at first and scoring goals seemed impossible at times but playing more and more made it easier. What happens if it's easy to play from the start?

after playing a few games yesterday on a patched version (Fernando v3 + Higgs emblems v2), i believe they made the game waaaaaaay easier. let me explain my self.

i've been playing PES5 ever since it came out, i always play with 3 stars and let me tell you most of the time i end up drawing or losing, and when i win it's always 1-0/2-0 even with brazil.

ever since i got WE10, i've played 5 games (3 stars) so far and all of them using brazil, the first game i won 3-0 playing against River Plate with 4 red cards on my side ... 7 players against 11, and i still won 3-0 ... okay i told myself let's try with 5 stars.

next game i still used Brazil, but this time against Argentina and 5 stars level of difficulty. final result : 3-0 ... i could never do that on PES5 with 5 stars.

i rebooted my console and tried again Brazil vs. Colombia i think, 3 stars difficulty level ... final result ... 11-0 !!!!! WTF ...

is it me or the game became waaaaaaaaaaaaay easy ???? it's true defending is a bit more difficult than before, but i have the impression that with brazil you'll never lose ...

please lemme know if you are facing the same thing

Maybe it's easier to score goals, but you got 4 red cards so you can say that defending is harder. Cause you have to make a (necessary?) foul. If you had not done that you maybe got some goals against you.

Sorry it's not. It's more like PES2/WE6 than anything, with PES4/WE8 next closest.

Yes, Bernabeu is the first stadium you can choose. Not sure about the other one yet due to fake/japanese name text. Pitches are mostly the same. Some are great and some are awful. I tend to stick to the ones I like.

overall... was quite disappointed with winning eleven 10... had expected it to carry on from pes5 where careful planinng have to be made... build-up plays leading to goals... in the end... we 10 is all abt trying to break the opponent's net with tons of goals... hope they realise what's goin in and pick up from pes5 in the next series...

my impressions of the game...

I am using the Jonboyos patch 30-04-06

the game is really alot easier when compared to WE9

the master league layout looks utterly disgusting (worse than the WE8 version)

from what i tried, you can no longer manipulate different teams into different leagues and ur forced to start in division 2 (unlike WE9, you could place different teams in different leagues)... once you choose the team you want to control, it automatically arranges the leagues, u can choose whether u want to keep it that way or have it randomized again....

to me, WE10 is definitely a step in the wrong direction by Konami, instead of putting an awesome game on the market to keep its great fan base, it has made the game very childish (just look at the items in the WE-Shop)

however, I will still be playing this game because, well, i love WE...

what made WE 9 so great, WE 10 does not pick up on... in fact, looks like they have taken stuff out...

zyg... what do u think?

you are 100% right steely everbody always compalins when a new we or pes comes out but on 6 stars this game is great....the gamplay is just perfect...some faces have become better....and you can make your edited kits look more then the real ones so everybody just chill and give this gane a chance.
In every japanese magazine this game gets very high rates....and in japan they are really critical on the we serie so get your put up to your tv and play soccer !!!!!!!!!!!

The keepers are just too shite for me, i am struggling to get over it. Its VERY easy to create space in or around the box for a shot, and more often than not it goes in or the keeper will fumble it.

It will just be your TV mate. Usually on widescreen flat TV's the game runs quite fast however on older TV's the game seems slower. You may get an option to choose at the start 50Hz or 60Hz ?
