Is this your premier league team of the season.

Must be.

(Either that or his master league players?!)

It would be better to have a CB on the bench too.
I personally wouldn't play Solskjaer there when there are better options and Defoe isn't good enough.

Its my premier league team of the season.
When Beckham was out solskjaer played great.

Sure, but defoe has scored like 7 goals and I'm sure henry has more assists than even that let alone goals.

Henry has gotta be in the starting lineup dude!! he's scored almost as many goals as van nistelrooy and is the clear leader in the assist table. defoe is a little gem but he's not that great yet.
i also don't agree with matthew upson being there - he was at reading on-loan for the majority of the season and has only really played the last 10 games for brummies, but still each his own

Me being a man u fan i hate henry, he is so over rated.
There is no way he should have got man of the match in the fa cup final, he played rubbish.
Matthew Upson is a great defender and soon will be the best in England and Defoe will soon be the best striker in England.

i agree that defoe could be one of the best strikers in england but this was meant to be a team of the season. he played quite well but nowhere near as good as henry. and as i said about upson - he spent 5 months of the season in the nationwide :-\

and henry being overrated!!!! 23 goals and 21 assists! that is a crazy return! he's the best player the premiership has got to offer.

my MoM in the cup final should have been Gilberto IMO - he had a great game. won almost all his tackles, made loads of important interceptions, his passing (as always) was impeccable as he got a lot of the moves going by spreading passes here, there and everywhere. also he was fairly solid in the air but is, as always, an unsung hero.
he will only get better as he properly adjusts to the speed of the game - next season will be gilberto's season.

luzhny and keown were fairly solid, cole had a lively game and bergkamp played probably his best game of the season (ive seen arsenal a LOT this season and he's been fairly average all year, so this was his best performance ive seen of him this season)

My MoM would have been Baird the southampton RB.
He is young and to play like that in the FA Cup final and that being his 2nd appearance for the team he played excellent no nerves what so ever.

Shouldn't Baird have been marking Pires when he scored?

But he was good otherwise and will hopefully become a star of the future.

Marshy! You may hate Henry but you cannot deny his sheer class. He outshone Beattie in the final. Although he should have tucked away some of those chances??? Interesting that there's no room for Jenas (or even Kewell maybe). Also wouldn't mind a punt on di Canio as a sub. I know I haven't actually put a team in but would like to think about it first.

... keeping in mind this is team of the season, not the past few weeks.

Henry is still better than Beattie over the course of the season...

Zygalski

I know that!
I was referring to Kewell and Di Canio.
