Boris Johnson's England Debut

Did anyone catch the England vs Germany friendly tonight featuring retired internationals and special guests? If you didn't then you missed the greatest sporting moment that has ever existed!

Late in the second half Boris Johnson MP came on, replacing Paul Merson I think. He ran around like a headless chicken for a few minutes before rugby tackling one of the German players! Literally the funniest thing I've ever seen!

A spear tackle, quite literally. He just ran head first into him whilst the ball was being played along the floor. :laugh:

Rugby tackle would probably be more fitting, but it was genius either way. I haven't laughed so hard in a fair while.

It was a proper rugby tackle. I think it was accidental though. He was running at the German and it looked like Boris fell towards the player and then he speared him. Easilly the funniest sporting moment this decade. :lol:

Boris Johnson is a first class gobshite, as I said at the time I would love to have seen one of the German players stamp repeatedly on his head.
