This dosen't have to be the best goal ever, it could be an important goal or a goal against your derby team.

That is one of my faviourites a Van Basten overhead kick.

I remember a goal by Kennet Andersson in the USA '94 World Cup against Brazil. I think Brolin squeezed past a couple f players and chipped the ball to Andersson, who chested and flicked the ball over Taffarel form about 25 yards.

I don't know why I like it, because it wasn't particularly spectacular or extravagent, but it flowed really nicely.

I've got that game on video somewhere.

I seen a comp of Zlatan Ibrahimovic last night that Muad sent me, and one of his goals in his Ajax day's was just simpley amazing. He must have skinned about 5 players then took it past the keeper. That goal is probably in my top 5 now. Literally one of the best runs i have ever seen.

I can't pick between:

George Weah for AC Milan against Verona on September 8, 1996:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6398272858926525845&q=Weah+Verona&pl=true

Ronaldo's for Barcelona against Compostela when he beat two players on the half-way line, accelerated, slipped back inside and finished.

Alessandro Del Piero () for Juventus against Fiorentina

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3428846100479428296&q=Del+Piero+Fiorentina&pl=true

and finally I was looking for a particular Roberto Baggio goal, came across the following link and couldn't pick between half of these either:

This goal was immense. It was an own goal but an own goal of wacky proportions. The keeper picks up a back pass which results in an indirect free kick, so the Legend that is Mickey Evans takes the ball from him places it down and kicks it at him therefore making sure it wasnt direct. what about the van basten volley against russia euro cup final 1988 i think, its finishing of the highest quality.

A few to wet the lips of the Red Devils out there...

George Best vs. Sheffield United, solo effort (what else?!) where he takes on about 5 Sheff Utd players before a great finish.

Wayne Rooney vs. Newcastle '05/'06. What a fucking volley.

Eric Cantona vs. Sunderland '96/'97. The most audacious chip ever, followed by an heroic celebration.

King Eric vs. Liverpool 96 FA Cup Final. Great volley that squeezed past every scally at Wembley.

Beckham's half way line beaut.

But the number 1 of course is....

Ryan Giggs vs. Arsenal. 1999 FA Cup Semi Final Replay 2nd Half of Extra Time. Giggsy picks up the ball from Vieira on the half way before taking on the whole Arsenal defence, finally smashing it past Seaman from a tight angle. Followed shortly by the World Hairy Chest Olympic sprint heats.
