A decent amount of strikers included...

Dave!

They have very good strikers Ibrahimovic and Larsson but are fairly weak everywhere else. Not to much to worry for England.

Oh, the ignorance. The Swedish probably play better as a team than any other squad in World Cup, so I reckon they can beat almost anyone. They are not up to winning the title, but they might cause a surprise or two.

Teddy Lucic - Crap
Olof Mellberg - Average
Niclas Alexandersson - "
Kim Källström - Not bad
Tobias Linderoth - Average
Fredrik Ljungberg - Not as good as he used to be
Anders Svensson - Done
Christian Willhelmsson - Average
Marcus Allbäck - Rubbish
Johan Elmander - Don't know
Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Good Player

Comparing them with the England squad, England outweigh them in every position. Not a bad squad but not as good as Englans.

Why did you put them so it seems as if England is that much better? And that won't mean they're better than Sweden.

I was born there, but I've lived in Sweden for about 15 years.

That doesn't mean shit, because they have such a strong team play. I mean the Germans would have never won the world cup if judged in the way you did ;)

Let's not compare England to Sweden in a thread that is dedicated to Sweden..

Sweden is a solid team, very strong. I can see them go real far, like the QF's. They were unlucky last time at EURO 04. I'm especially looking forward to watching Rosenborg and Larsson playing.

I wasn't assessing their chances mate, just stating that it isn't the strongest of squads, in terms of players. ;)

They have a decent enough team, I think they'll cause an upset. It's more the team's strength, rather than individuality.

Rami Shaaban is now playing for Fredrikstad in Norway. I thought Rami was a qite good sign, he didn't let many balls pass, but got injured and hasn't really recovered from that until this spring.

Marcus Allbäck.

That's going to comeback to haunt me, but at least it provided me with a bit of entertainment for a short while.
