Our forums are doing better than ever, and quickly approaching 1000 members! To celebrate this, we are launching a new competition in which you can win a FREE copy of Pro Evolution Soccer 3 when it is released later this year. The competition details are below:
How to Win: Reach 2,500 posts on the PESInsight Forums
What you can't do: Under no circumstances will we tolerate spamming... this includes one word replies and such. Anyone doing this will be void from the competition.
Runner's up: The second and third people to reach this target also win a prize... £10 Amazon Gift vouchers.

So you'd prefer people to edit the original post to enter anything further they wish to add (if they weren't sure or forgot)?
What about giving incomplete details so they will be asked for clarification?
It's all going to be tricky to keep track of.
Maybe you shouldn't have mentioned the prizes and just told us after they was won.
Hope there won't be petty arguments later.

lol, no of cause not. it wont be at all tricky to keep track of.... after someone reaches 2500, i will search all of that users posts using the feature on the forums... and any "spam" posts will be deducted from the post count. it is likely that there will be a clear winner anyway.

I can understand the need for increased participation in the forum which is always a good thing.
I see I'm one of the top few posters but I'm not going to go out of my way to increase the number of posts just for this competition.
I like to find out stuff about the ISS games and pass on any knowledge to anyone who needs help.

Zygalski, how long have you been posting for to reach 331 or whatever? Like some kind of idea as to how long it might take to make 2500 just doing normal posts. I'm a member of another footie forum where I've made about 250 posts in a month or two. But that is more general. I think it would be hard to reach 2500 for me as there are mostly PES, WE and patch specific threads. And I can't get involved in the patch discussions as I don't have a chipped PS2, etc. (Wont be doing it either...) :- (

and even if ur right Zygirlski, if ur not eligible then the free game won't be given in time for the release date as (i've just checked the members list) the next preson after ur 1500 posts is rebusrahman with only 600 posts and since no one post at the rate u do, around 20 a day, the free game won't be given until next year when anyone who is a fan of the game (which basically means everyone who knows this site) will already have it.
Perhaps Hitman should lower the number unless he already knows wot i know and thats wot he's hopin, that he won't have to ever give out a free game

Proevo3? Pls do tell what ur problem is? I do talk gibberish in my posts but it is usually entertaining (?)/ responding to the last post or the thread in general. If we all just stuck to what the thread topic was then each thread would last 10 posts and finish. I thought the point of the forum was PES first, chat and having a laugh a very close second.
I make no apologies for posting a great deal (as I am lucky or unlucky enough to be in a job where I can use the internet a lot) and if people didn't like it they would complain (like you). As of yet, I have still to receive any complaints (except from you and TomF7).
I do know why you have such an issue with Zygalski (and to a lesser extent, me) but as he said u don't have to post to this forum. There are other PES forums and, as u said, you have lots of friends IRL if u don't want to be a cybergeek. So I really don't understand why you take such exception to us "gibberish talking fools". Also if you had bothered to read any of the threads I did say that the Star Wars avatar was temporary until I found something better (as it was pretty boring.) You will now see that I have a detail of Gustav Klimt's, "The Kiss". I hope this isn't too geeky for you or uncool?
With regard to the question of a free copy of PES3... I would like to win it... who wouldn't? But if you wanted to then you should post as much as poss? If that is not feasible then you should not whine when other people post more than you. Hitman also said that he would judge whether the posts counted or not (in case of repetition or gibberish). So it is entirely possible that hit cuts my posts down a lot because I talk a lot of crap.
But perhaps hitman can also think of another compo too... like one based on PES playing skill.
Anyway, the upshot of this is that I will continue to post and if anyone has a problem they can PM me directly or respond to my posts. Also I am sure hitman will be in touch if he is not happy. Otherwise, I would ask you to try and take the forum )and yourself) a lot less seriously.
NB Notice how I have made one post to bind them all. Sorry the geeky reference to LOTR. And yes you have annoyed me a bit with your tedious incriminations and facetious remarks. :p

Well, it does depend on which way the cookie crumbles? Is it 1st to 2500 or when the game comes out?
I think it was a bit of both. The first person to get to 2500 posts wins the game. If they dont get their, the person closest to the total gets it instead.
