Although he isn't the most of glamourus players at AFC Chelsea, he is certainly one of the most effective. The fact that he is going to Germany confirms this. The tough-tackling Dutch midfielder's job is to protect the defence and unsettle the opposition with his no-nonsense approach.

John Obi Mikel

Massimo Ambrosini

Arguably the hardest worker in the division, Ambrosini's passing range and tough-tackling has made him one of the tougher midfielders in Div.3. Boasting an impressive C.V playing with the likes of Milan, London Lions and DFS; Ambrosini will always give 110%, which is exactly what we can expect from him for Chelsea and Italy.

Strikers:

Without doubt one of the most feared strikers in Division 3. With a sharp eye for goal and instinctive fininishing, Iaquinta is destined for big(ger) things and could start them with Italy in World Cup 2006.

A highly-rated striker who recently fired Sevilla to Uefa Cup glory with a powerful headed goal before he left for AFC Chelsea. He is expected to mount a challenge to partner Iaquinta. A very lethal striker who should confuse opposition defences with mazey runs and beautiful finishes.

Nicolas Anelka

Anelka, once one of the world's most devastating strikers who still has the ability to re-produce that form. Anelka's clever movement and keen eye for goal has made him such a handful for defenders, with such close ball control, strength and great technique, when on top of his game he is almost unstoppable. Hiddink will work hard to help Nicolas capture this form.
