Overview

The WSAG Evolution V2 Option File is finally here! After the huge success of the first version, V2 just couldn't come sooner for some people. The second installment of this OF comes with more new teams, updated kits for licensed & unlicensed clubs, World Cup kits & squads, updated U21 national teams and many more features. Take a look at the list for the all new features.

NOTE: The 4 missing World Cup teams; Angola, Ghana, Togo and Trinidad & Tobago will not feature in this option file.

WARNING: If you have already started a Master League with another Option File or even with the WSAG V1 OF, alot of players will have changed due to new teams being added (8 in total). How to transfer the OF onto you Memory Card/Hard Drive:

Using Xbox Max Drive...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Make an archive (zip file) of the folder called UDATA
3. Drag this newly created zip file onto your maxdrive using the software.
4. Connect your maxdrive into one of your Xbox controller ports and load up PES5.
5. On the PES5 menu screen, go to Options > PES Data Control > Copy Saved Data. Then select the ‘Change’ option, and select the Datel Max Drive from the list.
6. Select the PES5 Option file present on the max drive, and then choose a slot on your hard drive to save the option file.
7. Once you have saved the file to your xbox hard drive/memory card, return to the main game menu and let play begin!

Using PS2 Max Drive...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Select and drag the .max file onto the max drive software.

Using PS2 X-Port...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Import the .xps file into your X-Port database using the X-Port software
3. Select and choose the 'Restore' option to transfer the option file onto your memory card.

Using PC...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Copy the file entitled KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT and paste it into the folder My Documents > KONAMI > Pro Evolution Soccer 5 > Save > Folder 1

As highlighted in bold, the save folder above is located in My Documents and NOT the Konami folder in Program Files.

The file MUST be entitled KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT for it to work, so do not change the name of the file.

Note: If you already have an existing option file on your memory card or hard drive, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it. If your current file is one you might want to go back to then you will want to back the file up first, before transferring this Option File.

To unzip a file you will need to download WinRar or Winzip if you haven't got one of these already.

If you follow these instructions, you should have no problems.

I have the same trouble with mine sometimes mate, today was a nightmare. Keep trying different things like wiping the disk, getting rid of dust on your PS2 etc, it should work eventually.

I had alot of trouble tring to convert it to Xbox, thats why i took so long to post the links. I'll try and fix it now mate.

I fast checked your file in the pes editor and it looks great. Just two things I have noticed: There is a River Rlate team that is obviously River Plate and I think Franco from Villareal has number 99 in real life and (im not sure) in your file he got number 9.

Just two little things that I can easily edit *if I somehow get the xbox save to work* I'll be looking forward for updates.

I'm so lucky, my Max Drive disc worked FIRST time, and that's the first time that's happened. I leave yee with a tip, get a glass cloth or that PSP cleaner cloth thing, and use that to clean the disc or the disc reader.

Sheff Utd players ages and features are all wrong, kit is great though and the away shirt is gonna be yellow not white next season. chris armstrong isnt black, and david sommeli, chris lucketti are missing i made these though in the in game editor. i had a quick play with corinthains. great option file might be able to play it later or tomorrow now though.

I have managed to get your option file in my xbox. It was quite simple:

As I had downloaded dwevans OF, I used that as base. I just extracted the files to a temp folder. Now that you have the UDATA folder look through the folders until you get to the KONAMI-XBOX-WE9UOPT.xsv file, you only have to rename your WSAG Evolution V2 _Xbox_WE9I.xsv to KONAMI-XBOX-WE9UOPT.xsv and replace the original.

I used this for my Winning Eleven 9 and it works so it should be the same for PES. You can use any other OF as base but I really don't know if this somehow alters your OF. I can PM you the file ready to go if you want.

PS: Márquez (barcelona) hairsytle really needs to be changed, the default one is way better.

I can send you links on where to find all these boots so as you can add them two the update? Some more great work bluescouse, however i have a few points to make.
This isn't me being biased at all but i feel the portsmouth team is incredibly underrated as the form we were in at the end of the last season was one of the best in the premiership and on the game we are set as easily bottom three i wonder if this could be changed? Also i was slightly dissapointed to see the portsmouth formation was not the one i suggested as on your file a few players are playing out of posistion and whatnot. On the whole though this is a cracking file and easily the best around and i think you for all your hard work.

I have managed to get your option file in my xbox. It was quite simple:

As I had downloaded dwevans OF, I used that as base. I just extracted the files to a temp folder. Now that you have the UDATA folder look through the folders until you get to the KONAMI-XBOX-WE9UOPT.xsv file, you only have to rename your WSAG Evolution V2 _Xbox_WE9I.xsv to KONAMI-XBOX-WE9UOPT.xsv and replace the original.

I used this for my Winning Eleven 9 and it works so it should be the same for PES. You can use any other OF as base but I really don't know if this somehow alters your OF. I can PM you the file ready to go if you want.

PS: Márquez (barcelona) hairsytle really needs to be changed, the default one is way better.

Welcome to the monopoly called Microsoft. In their infinite wisdom, the 360 save and the xbox saves are different. I haven't seen anyone come up with a way to xfer xbox saves to the 360 without serious modding. I know the 360 Xchange doesn't do it so don't waste the $$.

BlueScouse, I will DL this when I get home. I just started a new ML as Sunderland. 4 games in, looks like I'll be starting over, LOL! I wanted to take a lesser club and see if I could keep them in the EPL. Using Paul B's OF for that ML.

I like the idea of having all the EPL and Coca Cola Teams on the game to compete for the EPL. I'll figure something out, but I am definitely DLing this OF and checking it out. Sounds like it will be awesome!!

Hi! is there any way that i can get the OF (btw ive had a look in peseditor and it looks great! ) to my ps2 without a maxdrive or an xport cos I heard from sum1 on these fantastic forums that you can use a pen-drive and sum ovver things as a makeshift max-drive.

It automatically became my default option file as I deleted my old one before using this newer one so I can save games without any problems. If you want to keep your old option file as well perhaps use different memory cards or store tghe one you arent using on your Max Drive. I am using PS2 by the way.

Can it be that the PC version of the PES5 option file don't have the classic/U21 teams? I send the file to a friend of mine, who has the game on PC and he couldn't find U21 Netherlands and others... then for example there also was no Huntelaar at Ajax... I have the file on both systems (I wanted to check) and saw the same... On PS2 the file is great! (only some duplicate players at normal teams and U21 teams (Robinho, Fred, Messi) but I can live with that :)) and on PC I don't have the U21 teams and then the players that are in those teams are als not at club teams... I don't know if the problem is mentioned already but I just wanted to tell... :)

It has happened to me once - but I reset my PS2 and everything was ok. Did you try to play a ML team that you had saved prior to using this Option File ? Thats what I did (to see if my Birmingham team could still be used even though they arent on this new Option File) and thats when I had my problem. But Ive since started a new ML using the Hearts team from this option file and never had a problem apart from the manager isnt exactly the best - lol

V2.5 will be out this weekend. All the World Cup teams are updated (apart from the 4 missing teams which won't be included), new kits for more licensed teams including S. Korea, Japan, PSV Eindhoven, Rangers plus others, no more duplicate players!, More summer transfers, FC Basel added over Rosenborg (this was going to be for V3 but i thought i'd add them for the update)...theres probably more but i can't think of the at the moment...

what i find pretty amazing about pes5 (and your option files) are that i can go periods where i find it hard to play well or score, i think its due to constant playing of the game that i think some shots will go in. Or i cant decide whether to take a chance on goal or not.

my max drive disc was being a goon when i first got mine, but somehow i realised all i had to do was put a little weight (not much at all as the disc will not spin) on top of my ps2 (slimline one btw), then hey presto its worked ever since.

Should be a top class OF, iv'e been using Watson V.3 for a bit, i was also using WSAG Evolution V.2 and this one is much better, the amount of new kits and teams is brilliant, everything just seems better, no disprespect to Watson, his is still good.

The only thing that put me off WSAG V.2 was a few duplicate players what i came across, other than that, perfect.

Hope its out sooner rather than later!
