View Full Version : Czech Republic versus Ghana!
What a great game, Ghana played very very well there. The Czech deserved a beating, although I was hoping for a draw.
I am gutted ! First Steve Bruce then Ghana - will someone leave my football teams alone ?
err?
edit: Just found this pic of Essien smelling someone's shirt

Quite gutted, i felt the Czech's were gonna go on and win about 2 or 3-0 tonight. That early goal they conceeded really effected them, credit to Ghana though, they kept composed and pressured the Czech's for the rest of the game. It's gonna be an uphill struggle for Czech Republic now, Italy stand in their way, so if they don't win they possibly could be out, all Ghana need is a draw and there through. Should be exciting.

No Tom, just no.
Ghana was absolutely beautiful to watch. What an excellent show.

The tempo of the match was amazing. In those terms it was the best match so far. Ghana's passing play was excellent at times, although it helped that The Czech were a man down.
Cech made some fantastic saves, I kinda hoped for his sake that the Czech would get a draw.

Agreed. One of the best matches so far! One of the best groups as well, considering the level of entertainment in almost every match. Bruckner should have brought in another defender, now they had 3 defenders against a deadly line of attack(Muntari,Gyan,Appiah etc.).
Excellent goalkeeping by both keepers, Kingston is a revelation.

Asamoah Gyan is my hero.
For Essien pic "Michael's solvent abuse had gone too far."
For legal purposes, Michael Essien does not have a problem with solvent abuse, it was just something that fitted the picture well. No legal action for me.
