Dunno how it fits with our players, but i always like to play 3-5-2, with 3 CBs, 1 DH, 2 SH, 2 OH, and 2 CFs. Plus a GK and a partridge in a free role...which makes 12.
It means you can play very attacking, pen the opponents in their own box, and still have enough cover to pick up their desperate clearances and to cover if they hit you on the counter...

4-4-2 diamond midfield

3-5-2 with 2 DMFs, one of which is sent on surging runs forward (so he is back to cover and OK to attack too).

3-4-3 diamond midfied for when we want to attack a lot.


BTW, the pesfan V3 option file for PES3 replaces PES United with PESFAN United, including all of their dream team players. It is a very sad thing to do on their part but now we know how one of their teams will look.

I recently made a new formation:
2 CBs, 2DMFS, 2CMFs, 2OMFs and 2CFs all in pairs in a central line down the pitch. I beat France 4-0 using it on 5* but I don't think it will work for what we have in mind. :) If you want to make it, it's basically a 4-4-2, leave the 2 CFs where they are and move everyone else around so they line up with the CFs.

I pretty naff performance really. Most of the game was played in midfield and we failed to create any real chances. Average ratings all round. :(

A much more impressive performance this time round. Rebus got the goal on 25 minutes, heading in a Zygalski cross from 8m. We managed to break down the majority of Arsenal's attacks. Giggsy11 saved well from Henry late in the first half. Insight passed the ball around well and were slightly the better side on reflection.

It's a good idea though.

Perhaps someone else who has created the team or is willing to has got them on there. Only thing is, that and the PES United team tend to be overwritten by people. Also, if I remember rightly, there were only a few PES Fan players on there, not an entire squad. Not sure.

An embarrasing result, purely because of Heskey bagging both goals. :o

Heskey gave Liverpool the lead just before half time with a shot from the edge of the box which flew into the top corner, leaving the mighty PP helpless. Heskey grabbed his second when he out-paced and out-muscled the defence to slot home past the keeper late on.

Insight failed to break down Liverpool's attacks on most occasions. They seemed to close in our goal with relative ease. Whereas Insight failed to really do anything with the ball. Not a very heartening performance as the match ratings show.

I will try out the 3-5-2 formation tomorrow night and/or the weekend hopefully.
