Manchester United's Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo says he wants to leave Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old has been criticised in England for his role in the sending off of team-mate Wayne Rooney when Portugal beat England in the World Cup.
"I think I should get out of Manchester as the circumstances are not right to keep playing there," said Ronaldo.
"Nobody stood up for me, although I did not do anybody any harm. In two or three days I'll decide where to go."

anyways, today, ronaldo made another fake dive, 44th minute i think, and it was SO OBVIOUS, he really needs to get better at dives, someone should tell him how many cameras there are, you need to at least touch someone before you dive. Ronaldo is such a sissy, he wants a foul, but he doesn't want to get hurt AT ALL. you can only EXAGGERATE fouls, not FAKE them.
People hated ronaldo since day one, they will be glad to see him gone. However it was clear he wanted to go long before the world cup started and the Rooney incident only speeded things up.
His actions alongside the other portugese players was awful in tonights game.

I think you are right nobody blames rooney, and what he did was very stupid for a football player. Besides that, Erikson is an awful trainer: he scores one goal, and then scares a lot, because he realises it was just luck, and then he tells all the players to stand on the side of the goalkeeper. The English lost because they don't have what it takes (they have the names, but they donīt have the gameplay).
About Cristiano Ronaldo: he is a very skillfull player, if he can surpass the fact that he only plays for "Cristiano Ronaldo FC" maybe he could become a fundamental player for what ever team he plays (hope he dosenīt plays for Real Madrid, cos they already have Robinho, and they donīt need Cristiano).

I can see him develop into a brilliant player in the la liga and under capello.
yes, hopefully capello stops him from silly diving as well, telling him that "you do it too much, let me show you how its done in italy". in the mean time, I think Park will do fine replacing Ronaldo's position, he is a team player, and boundless stamina, with decent speed.

It looks like we're losing Ruud, so we could really do without losing Cristiano Ronaldo. Unless of course Ferguson has some insider info that the huge fire sale about to emanate from the Juventus and Milan camps?
Here's hoping so… Vieira? Nedved? Kaka? Gatusso? Pirlo? Any of those would do me, but preferably not at the expense of losing one half of what presently amounts to our future.

I was not being serious about it not being a real country, the point was that it's a part of the UK.
I understand that you're an England fan, but Gerrard is a Liverpool player and I find it weird for a United fan to have a Liverpool player for an avatar.
When one of United players is made a scapegoat because the English fans can't accept that England isn't good enough to go to the semi-finals, we United-fans should support our player not join the people who does everything to chase one of our best players out of the country.
