Finally, someone who agrees. Unfortunitely Reid is a media darling. I can see the Beeb rubbing there hands with glee as they can get him back as the face of MoTD, and make him a new team captain on a Question of sport.

Poor Alan Green and Andy Gray. They'll be crying there eyes out!

I wish he'd stayed though, so the public can see him for what he really is.

good and bad, viduka will probably stay now, but we dont hav a manager and i doubt the next one will be any better.

i don't think Reid is totally to blame (although i don't rate him as a manager), most managers that inherited the team he did when he took over would have struggled.

Like the previous poster said Smith is the only one with his heart in it, i dread to think what will happen to Leeds now, the fact that Viduka is likely to stay may affect team morale, can any of the Leeds fans on here predict anything other than relegation?

not really.

and he didnt inherit a bad team, until he lost harry kewell. any team with on-form harry kewell, mark viduka and alan smith would stay up, regardless of defence.

ah well, we had our fun in the last few seasons, now we're paying for it!

Paul Hart is next in line to replace Reid at the helm? The board wanted Graham but the fans would have hated it.

i hope leeds do go up, since they shouldnt seem like a bottom league side. They have sum guud players, and they should really pull them selfs together. Maybe now tha lame excuse for a manger has gone, they can lead on

Reid was unlucky having to sell his best players before the season but he knew what he was getting into. He should have done the decent thing and resigned instead of holding on for his sacking payday. It's a bloody disgrace that he will get paid for that team producing some fucking shocking results. Leeds may have a pretty crap team left but are certainly capable of avoiding a hiding every week. Pure greed nothing more.

The slide started when David O Leary left. I remember the days i feared when Man Utd played leeds at Elland Road. End to End stuff with both challenging hard and well. Now when you go to Leeds, Well nothing.

Eggzerackly!

In the last 13 months he has recieved £6m because of ability, or lack or it, as a manager.

Hence the nickname GReidy.

Well, theres a man out of employment at the minute whos perfect for the job! He has experience working with there youngsters at the club, and he knows Leeds inside out.

Aye, they can have Wilko back....

I don't think GReidy is totally to blame. Leeds had to agree to pay him that (when they are meant to be cutting back). Every manager before him has not done much and he had less to work with (and brought in some good loan players). The point is that there seems to be a lack of spirit and community at Leeds and also he didn't get on with Viduka - who is a w**ker.

If he had any self-respect whatsoever he would have quit. He's just showed that he's in it for the money and not the club. I doubt he'll get another big job again.
