I was Wondering If a Sig Of The Week Thread Started Would Anyone Bother Competing in it?

Once We Get a few More People I will Make a New Thread and It will Be called Sig of the Week 1 And a Theme Size and Deadline Will be provided on the First post.

Hmm yeah when a few more people confirm, make a new thread in the graphics section called "Sig Of The Week 1" then maybe somthing like this

Time Limit:
Etc:

Then when all the results are in post a poll with the persons name next to it, so first ten enteries, if we get that many.

I was discussing this with Poffeman earlier today on MSN. I'm obviously interested, if anyone saw the World Cup signature competition, then they'll know we got a decent turnout and since then a lot more people have taken an interest in Photoshop. I think we can guarantee enough people to make this work as long as we can get interesting and differing subjects each week.

For the first week I think we should keep to a football related subject as everyone has had experience making this type of signature, and then move on to something different next week. Perhaps the forth coming season would be an apt subject?

I would also propose that we don't use polls, as it's quite possible that we'll get more than ten entries, instead we could use a system where people choose their top three favourite signatures. If your signature is chosen as the best, you recieve three points, second you recieve two points, and if you come third you recieve one point. Once all the votes have been counted by the closing date, whoever has received the most points is the winner.

We also need someone to organise it every week, I'll do it if anyone wants but I'm happy for anyone to do it as long as they've been around for a while so we can trust them not to disappear, no offence to any of the new lads.

Any thoughts?

Ok so We Have Quite a Few Yes and No objections I Propose We Start Sig Of The Week 1 On Monday And Deadline Friday Votes Can Be done Over The Weekends Once All The Sigs Are in Same Every Week.

I say we post the subject on a Friday (Today) and give a deadline of the following Friday, this gives people a chance to do the signature when they have time, for example some people may only have time to do one on the weekends. Votes can be made until the Wednesday of the following week.
