It's terrible how many of these young bloods are dubbed as the new 'Maradona, Dinho, Lampard'. That's pure crap if you ask me. Rooney who is a star now was never dubbed to be anyone, now he has made a name for himself. If this Santos fellow becomes a star in the future, i will know NOT know him as the new Maradona (which is ridiculous to even mention, respect the man), but instead as 'Dos Santos'. Simple.

I bet Santos himself would appreciate it that way.

Definately. It puts a lot of pressure on the player dubbed as the new Ronaldo, Maradona etc, and if they don't live up to their "expectations" then the fans will be mad with the player. Really is a stupid thing to do.

this dos santos though is VERY good i have seen a few bits on him and he really is an interesting player but im sure the great guidance of the barcelona management will look after his progression!!
