As I've seen about 100+ people asking how to do this, I thought I might as well make a thread so no one misses out.

When you're done with the sig - select all and press "Copy Merged".
Now, paste it into the sig. Nothing will change but if you look at your layers you will see that it has been added.
Right click the sig and go to "Blend Options". At the bottom it should say "stroke". Click it.

Now put the settings like this: http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/4476/borderby5.th.jpg (http://img117.imageshack.us/my.php?image=borderby5.jpg)

Voila! You've got yourself a border.

Please feel free to ask about anything if I didn't make myself clear about something. :)

Good tutorial there Poff, I do it myself by flattening the image when I'm done (save the PSD before that) and then duplicate the image, and go to edit->stroke

Then I just put the settings I want, and voila!

Sorry -Teekay- but Poffe (and my) way is safer, as you never have a chance of losing your working, as California Clown did.

Or .....

Create a new layer
Go to select -> select all
Go to edit -> stroke & choose settings.

Many ways to do it. :p
