saved goal with webcam, but cant view it, what do i do

when i open the file it opens with some studio file but it should have been saved as a windows media file

Er...may need a bit more info there but here's my guess...

You may need to go to File and select an option like Save Movie File rather than Save Project As for example...as it sounds like you are saving it as a project in some form of video editing software with the video clip in but not the video itself.
