Adrian "Aidy" Boothroyd was a coach for Leeds United and previous to that he had Academy roles at West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City, before joining Watford in his first managerial role in 2005. He has become a highly rated young coach and led Watford to 3rd place, the Championship Playoffs and promotion in 2005/06, winning the Playoff final against Leeds United, where they won 3-0, in a season in which they were expected to battle relegation. Boothroyd is a fantastic thinker, with a tactical approach and methodical planning key to his successes.
