"Poor Displays in the First Weeks..." Announces Bernd Schuster

During a post-match interview on Sunday Schuster declared that "my team has been performing ok in the first few weeks, but there is a lot of room for improvement."

They fell to their second draw placing them in 5th place in Division 2. "I was confident we'd win as Adrian (Mutu) and Hernan (Crespo) have been pounding in goals at practice and all last season. Their link up is something that any coach desires and on the bench David (Suazo) and Emmanuel (Adebayor) are prepared to be called upon whenever I need them."

The team's captain, Buffon, hasn't been to happy about his performances either. "I was Keeper of the Week the first week, but I still feel as though I've let in too many goals. I've got Ricardo (Carvalho) and Kakha (Kaladze) infront of me and they're wonderful, I just need to sharpen up."

Bernd Schuster hopes that he can field a strong enough team next weekend to pull off their first win.

Yoann Gourcuff Attracts Interest

Yoann has attracted attention from many big clubs, but Heracles has refused to comment on the possibility of him leaving. "Yoann is in great form and happy with his situation, so there is no need for him to be looking to leave."

In other news, Heracles has hinted at the possibility of moving quite a few players out of the squad and bringing in fresh blood.

Want-away midfielder DaMarcus Beasley has attracted the interest of Bernd Schuster after he announced he wanted more playing time in a recent press conference.

Schuster revealed his interest after a training session today, "Beasley is an impressive player and I'm sure our team could find a spot for him."

Schuster seems to have settled on an aggressive 3-4-3 formation so many pundits believe that DaMarcus could be a very likely target in the upcoming transfer window.

José María Gutiérrez, Guti, is set to join Heracles on a six month loan after not recieving sufficient playing time under manager MufcSean.

"I'm looking forward to linking up with Heracles," he announced during the press conference, "they've got great potential to go up next season and I want to be apart of that."

Rumors are that Schuster will try convince the board to sign him indefinately should he perform well.

Schuster simply said "Guti is a tremendous player when played correctly. He must be given a specific role to play in the midfield and confidence must be placed in him. If not, he won't do his job properly."

In other news, Micoud has been returned to Heracles after his loan was cut short. Schuster has no plans for him, so he will most likely be sold or loaned out.

Javi Martinez Joins

Heracles has completed the signing of promising starlet Javi Martinez from Athletic Bilboa.

According to sources the Dutch side paid just a little over $3m for the Basque man.

He has taken up number '8' from Vogel who left the club after his arrival.

Bernd Schuster's Final Game Leaves Heracles In 6th

The final game is just around the corner and Bernd Schuster will leave the Clockwork Orange after one season to return to Spain.

The team will finish in 6th place, two places lower than the previous season which was a disappointment to many fans and the club president.

"I have really enjoyed the time at the club and I hope to maintain close ties with the next manager Barry."

Heracles will face Viperized's squad at home for its final match.
