You can not enter however if you continue to produce your own signatures and contribute well to the Graphics Area and community as a whole I may reconsider this situation.

Yeah I see what you mean, but yeah you're allowed anything as long as it's 500x200 pixels or less and follows the theme. Cheers.

I’ve been meaning to post in the graphics area for awhile, the current sow theme seemed like a good time to get my feet wet, however as some of you have undoubtedly noticed, the majority of rival team’s colours tends not to complement one another. So rather than the typical brush made signature I decided to work more outside of the focal point.

I disagree; the animation should aid the image and not be the core object within a signature.
Also, the more animation within a signature only adds to the file size. Take Original?’s For example, if everyone made a signature the same file size, the total file size of a single forum page would be more than 26mb.
Animations are great when used wisely and sparingly.

I apologise if that’s how I come across, I was just sharing my opinion on the matter. I didn’t mean to offend anyone. I brought up the matter of file size because in some forums people tend to take signatures to all kinds of extremes, adding music overlays, flash interfaces, etc.
Furthermore I wasn’t implying that the transition in your signature was inappropriate. I actually liked the design. You solved the problem of having two separate sets of colours by hypothetically having two separate sigs.

A sig is a sig as long it has the size limit met what ever happens in that 500x200 canvass is at the discretion of the artist.

Quality has nothing to do with it, some of the animated ones im seeing lately don't make me look twice, but i don't think there should be a rule against it. You either know how to do it or you don't, and if you don't, learn. Originals latest entry wipes the floor with his previous one and it's not animated. It'd take something amazing for me to be swayed towards it, with animation involved.

I agree with FE in this case. It is ultimately up to the creator but your new sig for the comp is fantastic Original?.
As far as animated gifs are concerned they should be allowed but it really would need to be something unique to sway my vote. I still love seeing the intricacy and effort put into a purely PS made sig.
I like Deki's sig its full with class, the render, the colours, the teams, PERFECT. Fast Eddie's sig is nice too. It looks like you paid for it. Class
