I can now gladly announce a great piece of news which is bound to get everyone drooling at the thought. This can be seen in no other option files and is unique to Watson V4.0 and is of course, thanks to the permission of the great Del Perio

Del Perio has kindly allowed me to use all the stats from his EPL beta file, so that a full stat updated, realistic, EPL database is playable. Many players have been updated, far in excess of the stats posted on his threads, from the biggest teams to the smallest teams, for the most realistic EPL gameplay possible

As I stress, this is the only file where you can play a fully updated EPL with realistic data and I’m sure you’ll agree that this is a superb addition to the Watson Option File Series

How to transfer the OF onto you Memory Card/Hard Drive:

Using Xbox Max Drive...
1. Copy the downloaded zip file to the max drive
2. Connect your maxdrive into one of your Xbox controller ports and load up PES5.
3. On the PES5 menu screen, go to Options > PES Data Control > Copy Saved Data. Then select the ‘Change’ option, and select the Datel Max Drive from the list.
4. Select the PES5 Option file present on the max drive, and then choose a slot on your hard drive to save the option file.
5. Once you have saved the file to your xbox hard drive/memory card, return to the main game menu and let play begin!

Using PS2 Max Drive...
1. Download the file
2. Plug the max drive in to the PC
3. Right click on Option File>send to Max Drive,
4. Plug max drive into USB port on PS2
5. Load up Max Drive software for PS2
6. Uncrush to memory card

Using PS2 X-Port...
1. Import the .xps file into your X-Port database using the X-Port software
2. Select and choose the 'Restore' option to transfer the option file onto your memory card.

Using PSP...
Simply drag file onto PSP save file.

Using PC...
1. Download the option file
2. Put the OF in C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 5\save\folder1
3. Make sure it's called KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT

How to transfer the OF onto your Xbox 360:

1. With just the XSATA (http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/produ...l=1&ProdID=403) attached between my 360 and my PC, I used the Xplorer360 software on my PC which allows you to view the contents of your 360 harddrive and I....
2. Selected "Drive" > "Open" > "Harddrive or Memcard...." from the Topbar menu
3. Went to drive "partition 3"
4. Drilled down the folders into "Compatibility/Xbox1/UDATA/4b4e0030/" ("4b4e0030" is the 360 folder name for PES5)
5. Deleted the folder "5252897584A1" ("5252897584A1" being the 360 and Xbox folder name for the Option File I think)
6. Replaced it with the "5252897584A1" folder of my desired Option File ("5252897584A1" folder contained only a "saveimage.xbx", "SaveMeta.xbx" and .xsv file)
7. ....then switched on my 360 to at last have this wonderful Option File working!!!!

Credit to Magoo for the Xbox 360 instructions :)

Note: If you already have an existing option file on your memory card or hard drive, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it. If your current file is one you might want to go back to then you will want to back the file up first, before transferring this Option File.

If you follow these instructions, you should have no problems.

Q: Where are the Classics

A: They have been overwritten with club team players

Q: Why does my team have the wrong badge in the Master League and how do I fix this?

A: I'm not sure why this is but its easily fixed by going into edit team from the master league menu, and selecting the correct badge

Q: Will you release another file for PES5?

A:No, this is my final PES5 release

PLF is a person, The best stat maker for Pro Evo. How do you feel it is better than Bluescouse?

I think you should look at the Bagrunnell thread, 82 is still very very high for a striker. I think this is ok for Crespo.

Thanks from over here in the States , Updated stats are THE most important thing. Dont know why konami dont do em. For our sports games we get weekley updates for baseball and monthly for football ( american football, i mean) . Just as well as konami would screw them up too. And by the way, glad you did the file for we9 cause we10 jap. rotts compaired to 9. I got both . Defence much better in 9. Thanks sooo much again, you and Blue for such great work.

shweeny- I think you misunderstand the stats, and have a read of PLF's thread to find out more about them, but for Crespo, I believe his stats are the default in mine, and CaptainCabinet is more correct with what he's saying, although IMO Crespo should be somewhere between the two values :)

Texas- Like Feanor says, I'm quite busy but if I get time, I'll post the appearances up, as they both have presets so won't take as long :)

cambo_cc- You'd need to import them from another file but be careful about which logo slots you overwrite as they are all in use, you will also lose the correct badge and umbro logo :)

That's because WE10 would only recognize an OF of WE9 but the Japanese version. It could be WE 10 compatible but with WE10 international.

Brilliant work Watson and team. I am so happy to see that you decided to include all the Championsleague Teams - this way it is possible to reconstruct all the present tournaments.
Even the smaller teams such as my team, Copenhagen are spot on. However I have some small corrections / ideas for the Copenhagen team, if you by chance do an update:

Hutchinson: position defensive midfielder as main area, center midfield or attacking as other possibilities. He has never played defence.

Nørregaard and Hangeland: Both have buzzcuts now, but since the hairdos of football players change everyother day, this is mayby not so important :)

The awaykit: Since there are no other Danish teams, mayby it would be more correct to have the international kit that they use in CL and other international games.

I would change it myself, but I don't have a windows system (mac OSX) and thus cannot use some of the editing tools needed to alter the unchangable kits like Villa Real.

And the fans colors should be so that the flags in the crowd are on a white background instead of blue.

It can't be done mate. Well it can, but that would mean using up all of the logo spaces, leaving no room for the nike tick.

I thought pes6 is goin to be diffrent than we10 . Even if changes are slight , could make a big diffrence ( game speed a little slower more realistic ,better goalies mabye they could catch a ball or not knock it right in front of goal, and hopefully you wont be able to dribble with beckham through like 4 guys ??

Mabye its just a personal prefrence, but i would rather play a game with better defence, less chances on goal, just seems more realistic. Was playin we10 with my buddy (a bunch of times) and we both are goin up and down the pitch gettin too many chances.( and we were both pretty good defenders, goin back to we6). Seems more like we8 to us ,Like some additions though, like quick f.k. , better curl, new anamations)

eg. juventus has the dujngarden shirt plus the tamoil sponsor, catania has the lecce shirt and the catania new sponsor too.

The stats are Del Perio's, they're not better or worse, some stats have been improved, some decreased- He plays like the real Tevez now :)

Great option file Watson - this is the second file of yours I have used and they never disappoint. The Pro Evo world is a much better place for people like you - it's much appreciated (as if you need to be told!).

The only small criticism I have is that sometimes I think you're tinkering a bit too much with it. The main example is Louis Saha - his face is one of the most accurate on the game, and all that needs changing is his hairstyle. Yet you changed it to a pretty generic black face and it looks nothing like him! You just need to watch that, but otherwise, fantastic stuff.

you dont. or u can transfer from ps2 to psp via the link but the kits remain the same, just with the logos on instead. also teams like ac milan die as they have the liscenced kit with the new sponser written on top of the old one.

Thank You Mr watson for another Cracking pes-OF, just installed it on my xbox 360 for pes 5.

Works beautifully on Xbox 360 (looks Amazing) and finally B&W buttons are in a decent place with the 360 Controllers.

Now i can finally Sell Pes6 which is a major let-down (what happened!!!!), its Crap, The only improvement was the through ball.

I mananged to convince my wee boy to sell pes6 after i XSATA 'd the pes 5 option file and he saw for himself how gorgeous it is and has back all the other various options which pes6 left out,
