One of the most lethal finishers of the past decade and arguebly of all time, Shevchenko really is in one word a 'machine.' One of Valeri Lobanovskiy's finest pupils, as a tribute infact leaving his Champions League Winners Medal on Lobanovskiy's grave as a fitting tribute to his mentor.

A striker without any weaknesses like many of the Kiev team from that era, Shevchenko's strengths include his pace, strength, movement, heading ability, the ability to strike a ball with either foot and of course his world class finishing ability.

Yet to flourish at Stamford Bridge, but I have no doubt that given time we will see what Shevchenko is all about.http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?cat=video&file=Shevva.wmv

Enjoy it Sweey.

Great stuff once again. I remember loads of people saying that Rebrov was going to make it, and that Shevchenko wouldn't come out of Kiev.

That video was excellent. All those goals were quality, reminds me of a younger Charlie Hegarty so it does.

A timely reminder of the problem we face - how do we replace someone who scored those sorts of goals for us? Already an obvious problem this season.

Nice one Jonny ;) - our greatest ever striker in Van Basten followed by arguably our second greatest ever.

Shevchenko is like one the the best all-round strikers, much like ronaldo prime and henry but i guess to a slightly lesser extend.

Shevchenko is by far the most complete striker of his generation. Two good feet, pace, good in the air and ruthless in front of goal. I have no doubt in my mind he will come good in the PL. He's just too good to fail and I think Chelsea's form and inability to create decent opportunities is more to blame for his settling in than anything. Legend! :D
