Breaking News: A new contender has joined Div3

Chairman Joan Laporta has already set about binging together a backroom staff that will seek to give the Red Devils an advantage in the cut-throat arena of Div3 football.
Director of Football: Johan Cruijff

A legendary figure both as a player and as a manager, Cruijff has agreed to take on the Director of Football role with the intention of keeping stability within the club and setting up a state-of-the-art youth development scheme as well as keeping an eye on emerging talent that might prove a useful addition to the Red Devils squad. His experience is certain to be useful to Eric Gerets.

A former Belgium international and World Cup semi-finalist, he won an improbable title with in Belgium with Lierse in a league normally dominated by Anderlecht and Club Brugge. He then went on to continue his managerial education with Club Brugge and PSV Eindhoven, winning several more titles along the way. After spells at Kaiserslautern and Wolfsburg, he joined Galatasaray and unexpectedly won the Turkish 1st Division title in a dramatic last day of the season, pipping Fenerbahce to the title. He will now be plying his trade with the promising Red Devils. One thing for sure, he is here to win.
