Hi guys this is the OF i have made using PESfan v1 as a base and using templates for kits from watsons v4 pes5. Now some of the EPL kits Ive had to adjust the formulas and ive tried my best to get the best kit for each EPl team but I know there might be a couple not so gr8 ones.

So thanks goes out to PESfan and watson for there OF to base my own on.

Cup/league names are changed to wat watson pes5 names were
stadium names should be all changed now to right names
EPL teams have there logos and sponsors and as best as i can get kits
U also have 99999 points to spend and nothing is bought in the shop

Feel free to correct any of my kit formulas as this is my 1st OF but I hope u guys will enjoy.

When u install winrar just right click the OF of mine u downloaded and select "extract to SWIFTPESOPTION XP" or "extract to SWIFTPESOPTION MAX. This will unzip the rar file and create a new normal folder with the xp or max file in it

Just sorted it myself as I was confused! You need to download WinRAR to be able to extract the .MAX file.

Look on here http://www.rarlab.com/ and download the English version of 'WinRAR 3.61 release'. then open it up and find the file, and extract it.

i downloaded the file, and winrar, clicked extract to SWIFTPESOPTION, and yes it created a new normal file...

BUT THE FILE IS EMPTY...JUST A FILE!

DL the save builder 0.8x (it might be a winrar file so extract it)

Go into the new folder created and click on the icon named "ps2save-builder" to open it up

Now click on the folder icon, and find the mx/xp file u want to convert and select it. Then click on the floppy disc icon and choose what file type u want to save as and confirm.

There u go if u had a max file to start u should now have a xp version of that file and vice versa.

big thanx for this option file. damn its so gd. first i had problems with max drive but i found out u had to wait for it to load up on action replay. the logos n kits are so gd who needs shitty fifa now. by the way the costumes are hilarious. have you ever wondered how ostriches do step overs and crosses? gd work keep it up.

i've downloaded the file. can i copy the file from c:\ drive location and paste it into the i:\ maxdrive location (in my case its i:\ anyway). simple as that right?

im having a bit of trouble with the basics i think and cant get my head around the instructions.

then im guessing i'll pop the max drive into the usb and transfer it over to the memory card?

pretty much yep, just cut and paste it onto the maxdrive on your pc then plugin the maxdrive to the ps2 and insert the ps2 maxdrive disc, when it loads go to DEVICES select the maxdrive and UNCRUSH the option from maxdrive to mc(make sure to UNCRUSH NOT COPY)

Nice file, but i have a tip i'd like to contribute concerning Liverpools 'Adidas' logo. It might be hard to understand, since i can't post a picture but i'll explain how to get a near perfect 'Adidas' logo whilst maintaning the 'Carlsberg' sponsor.

You need all three 'word' spaces empty, which is no problem... first use one space and type in 'A' use the italic thing to slant it to create the left side of the adidas logo (might want to darken the white a bit so it doesn't stand out). Select the next slot and type another 'A' keep this straight and basically size it down to make the other half of the 3 stripes. Type, 'adidas' size down as needed and place under the 3 stripes you've just created - hey presto we have a perfect 'adidas' logo to finish off Liverpools kit. Takes a bit of mixing and matching, but it can be done, i have it on my file.

I just thought i'd get this out in the open so in future OF i don't have to keep manually creating a proper adidas logo, hope you try it out. ;)

I've made it slightly better since then, just made each part one size bigger and brightened the white more. Might not be perfect, but it looks better than just having 'adidas' IMO. Glad you like. :D

As i said before, if its just me thats experiencing this problem, it could just be me maxdrive, as its not starting up sometimes and takes the piss when it does.

well unfortunately im going away for a month so there wont be much updated :( but I know that pesfan will be releasing future updates which should help with general player transfers and any name changes or duplicate players they missed. So I might at some point in the future just keep combining mine with pesfans ;) make sure ppl get the most up to date info + EPL (which pesfan cant incl)

I wouldnt worry to much about it, as u can set your difficulty lvl for every exhibition match or before a league or cup.

The ML names are based on watsons pes5 v4 names.

Also teams to incl in each is entirely up to u.

Hey, great work.
What I was wondering is the league c. did u already start on editing them, because there are some german teams like schalke and bremen.
if u r, what if i start a ml now and then u update it. will i still be able to play the ml if i update the of also?

The league C teams I believe were edited by PEsfan, from what Ive heard they are some german teams but I never touched them.
Regarding ML I believe if u get a new OF the ML will still have the old details in it. For a new OF its bets to start a new ML.

Help!!! I think I did everything right but when I put my Max Drive in the PS2 with the disc it comes up saying 'Disc Read Error' after about 2 minutes of Reading Disc...

Could you give me a sort of step-by-step guide to help me get the option file on my PS2. It may be that the file was too big, it was 760KB when I downloaded it, and 758KB when I unzipped it. Is that normal?

The file size shouldn't matter.
Not if you can't even get the disc to boot up.

Lot's of people have the 'disc read error' (my old PS2 was terrible).
Just keep resetting the console and try it horizontally and vertically, even upside down. I used to have to shake mine quite violently.

Put your USB drive in before you boot it up, but when/if you do eventually get it to start up, it's pretty simple:

- go to the 'max memory' section, and wait for it to load.
- select the USB drive as the primary device.
- wait until you see the PES6 file appear on the left (it may take a little while)
- select it...
- now, make sure you 'UNCRUSH' it to your memory card. Do not select 'copy to' or 'move to'.

When it's finished writing the data to your card, you're done.

And nice job SwiftNinja. Your work is much appreciated.

You need a max drive PS2 disk to transfer the option file. Alternatively, check the sticky threads in the Editing Questions section.

U automatically start in div2 and there is 2 options to unlock , 1 allows u to edit which teams are in all the ML leagues instead of just a random selection and the other option to unlock lets u set the amount of cash your ML team will have when u start.

Thanks very much for the option file which is marvellous.
I am fairly new to this kind of thing and found it a bit misleading with the mention that you need a maxdrive or something, when in fact all u need to do is burn a cd and then boot that on your modified PS2.

thanks to the person who posted the bin/cue link i then searched on how to actually use it. Maybe some people are in the same boat as I was yesterday so I will just make it easier for them.....

this is a bin/cue which you can use Nero to burn onto a CD.

You now have a boot disk which you can use to transfer the option file to your memory card.

follow from Step 7 on this website to transfer the option file from the CD to the memory card.

Then next time you start the game the option file will be loaded and hey presto, there you have it.

1. Download file on your PC and save it to DOCS
2. Extract file to your MAX Drive (if you have one)
3. Insert Max Drive in PS2 and Max Drive Disc as well
4. Uncrush file from Max drive onto PS2 Mem card
5. Exit Max drive and load game, option file should load automatically

i dont think there is anything wrong with the current bin/cue. It worked for me.....

maybe you could try again but use the slowest burning speed when you burn the cd?

I have already used 4x (minimum speed) and even differents medias, but it didn't worked. It's not the first time that I load an OF in my memory card. The whole process is quite familiar to me. Is it possible to load this OF to an unmodded ps2? (so I could use my friend's console to get it done)

Hello!

First of all CHEERS for the OF, it makes the whole game a damn sight better. I had been trying to do the EPL kits and badges myself but they looked dogger! So thanks for making it easier for me!

Secondly, I noticed on an earlier thread some dude was giving advice on the Liverpool kit ie the adidas logo. I have amended the kit myself in a much easier way. Use one of the logo slots to call in the adidas logo you created, use one of the text boxes to type 'arsl' and a seperate on to type 'C' (using the Times style font and italicise it a little). Keep the 'berg' part of the Carlsberg logo and drag the two text boxes (one with C and the other arls) over to it, just fiddle around getting it to look right. It isn't spot on but its a small sacrifice to getting the adidas logo on. I'll take a pic and post it tomorrow.

Had good few shots of this now and it's pretty good!
Only thing I had to change was all the Scotland strips, the home one was close but not quite right. Chuffed the Scotland badge was there though!!

Not sure how but when I was doing my own Aberdeen kits there was Aberdeen, Hibs, Falkirk and Dundee United badges in there already?!?

Is or has anyone done a PES6 option file with SPL in the now empty league?? Would love to have this!
