Icons for PS2 Buttons (instead of smilies?)

Could some of the 'Standard Smilies' be replaced with icons for the buttons on a PS2 analogue controller? (Circle, Square, R1 to L2 and LAS/RAS).

It would make explaining and understanding other players moves a lot easier.

We could add them without taking smilies out, I think hitman could do that, I don´t think the bandwidht will suffer from some new smilies.

Why do we have to delete any smilies anyway? Boards such as PHPBB have a few more then us anyway.

Okay okay, I only suggested deleting some of the smillies in case there were a limit to the number standard icons available to just click into a message.

Sure, /\, [], O and X are okay, but how cool would the real buttons look? :cool:

Originally it was a little wrong. I got rid of the P in the code. One change. Probably best to press the icon buttons themselves to get them.

thats what i was gonna try, but i wanted square, and that isnt on the menu thing!

and when u open it out, its not clickable, it just tells u the shortcut. which was wrong :confused:

I clicked on 'Show All Smilies'.
It shows the square. I click on the :s-square: pic (on the left of the writing) and it shows in the post. If you're using a pop-up-killer type thing, try to disable it first.

It's s-square with a : at the start and end:
If you can come up with some easier codes, we can try them out.
Codes for all of them though.

i would have thought that was as simple as you could get it. and its hardly likely you are going to type those in a normal sentance.

Get in some :square: and :x: in the conversatons.
In a subtle way maybe ;)

As for the designs of the others, that's not down to me. If you could find some better alternatives, it may make it easier to change them.
