Both central strikers look like they have a long game ahead with some pretty impressive central defensive pairings to face...

In terms of CM, Ronaldo9's main worry will be keeping possession with Mascherano an Maduro looking to run interference. Gilberto's main job will be to cancel out the threat of Iniesta, which won't be easy but is certainly not beyond him.

In the wings it is the young-guns vs the experienced veterans. Although I see it as mostly even, I think Messi will be the deciding factor, running riot until the others ar run ragged. Unfortunately, he is unlikely to find Villa unmarked with Thuram in particular ready to make life very difficult.

I think the only real chance of a break in the deadlock is through a trademark freekick from no other that Juninho.

1-0 to Ronaldo9.

I go for Nedy boy here

Very good team well balanced all over the pitch.

His midfield trio does it for me i think that all three players are quality.

Then to top it off Nedys attacking three are brilliant fast skillful palyers that will cause major probs to the likes of Salgado and placente.

Good luck nedy mate for the season.

Nedy to win, more powerful on the wings and in striker position. A solid defence and a good midfield as well.

Nedy no contest, his young stars will run all over Ronaldo9's aging vets, Ronaldo man you've gotta improve that squad by selling some of the old guys.

Since last season Ronaldo's ageing team has got a little bit younger, which is good. So good that he might even get something from this game but Nedys got an even younger team, with better players on the whole, so unfortunatly for Ronaldo, my vote heads Nedys way.

I agree. And with the likes of Makelele, Beckham, Baia on your bench, things will be very difficult for you Ron. Get some young blood in.

As for the game, Nedy wins it, like Preks says, his players will run all over the aging players of Ron and come out on top, atleast 2-0.

Or 2-1, Juninho free-kick. ;)
