Nice little match here.

In defence, Nikos wins. Samuel is sure to make vital mistkes at parts of the game and Thuram will get out-run by The fast legs of Saha and Kaka. Nikos however has two solid center-backs who can keep MU's attack at bay for most of the game and Two good Side Backs.

In midfield, Nikos wins here but just. Both midifeld's are talanted and will stress out both teams defence's but Gattuso and Diarra are both solid as rocks and will keep out some of MU's attacks. Jenas will surely make a number of mistakes during the game and Giggs and Figo can put in killer balls for RvN but will surely tire around 50/60 minutes. As Makelele is starting to get old, he may make one or two mistakes.

In attack, Nikos wins here aswell In my opinion. Van Nisterooy can finish balls given to him but I personally think you should consider putting someone beside him or slightly behind him. For nikos, Kaka will make MU's defence frustrated with all his tricks and moves.

So for me, 1-0 win for Nikos.

I go for Manutd4ever here, I can't deal with an unbalanced formation and that is just what Nikos have.

there is only one way you can play totti and kaka on the field at the same time and it would have to look like this.

---totti-----kaka---
-------Saha--------

but you would lose alot of width doing this which is why I think you should not have them on the pitch together, they're too similar in style of play.

Very close...

Need more time to think about this one.

Me too. I go for a draw here.
Nikos, sorry, but again I dont like Totti position. If you want to play him, you have tu swatch him with Kaka and Malouda as LMF. Then, he will be ok.

manutd4ever has a very talented team, but I feel Nikos has the better players, despite Totti's position.

It'll be a very close game, and would be very attack minded, but my vote goes for Nikos. 0-1.

Nikos:

As far as Totti is concerned you should either use him as Preki described - with or without Kaka next to him - or as a loan forward with Kaka marauding around behind him. Sounds a little strange but Totti played as a loan forward last season during Roma's awesome unbeaten run and was, as I'm sure you can guess, very effective there.

Joaquin is too far back. Gattusso and Diarra could do with moving further away from the defence. Defence looks good.

Basically you seem to be doing a Sven and trying to build a formation that doesn't necessarily make sense, but incorporates all your big names. Bad idea.

Manutd:

Welcome aboard. A solid defence there, although Silvestre presents a slightly weak link. If Joaquin were further forward he'd tear him to pieces.

I like your midfield trio. Jenas isn't great but he is capable of some very good things at times. Juninho and Makelele may be getting on but they're still class acts that are being used in their preferred positions. Maybe Makelele will be left a little exposed at times but I expect the other two will work hard to stop that from happening.

You're attacking trio are players of great stature but I think the gap between midfield and van Nistelrooy will ask a lot of the old legs of Figo and Giggs. You may be better off drafting in Kuranyi in place of Jenas and going for a modified 4-4-2. That's debatable though.

Also, you don't own Kieran Dyer; I sold him to grimmer during the last transfer window.

Despite a few tactical mistakes from Nikos, I can't help but see him surviving a tough match. I don't think he deserves, or is likely, to win but he should be able to force a draw. As both defences are pretty good, I think it'll be low scoring. 1-1.

That's my fault. I saw mu4ever had put Jenas on the bench, aswell as fielding him, so changed him to Dyer, thinking he still had him.

Personally, I do think Totti could play well in his position there, albeit far from his best, but the way the midfield is set out makes things a bit confusing. Joaquin doesn't look like he has enough freedom where he is placed, but being the player he is, should get forward and really run at Mikael Silvestre, who he could destroy if given the opportunity.

In future, when using Totti, Kaka and Joaquin in the first XI, I feel a 4-2-3-1 system would work better, with those midfielders then having the freedom to do what they do best. Joaquin is better as an out and out winger in a 4-4-2 system, but he has excellent movement, so could easily drift out to the right, and provide good width.

Like the last match, the right side is Niko's best chance for success. Sagnol likes to get forward, so with Joaquin, could really give Silvestre a troublesome time.

Ryan Giggs will need to get out wide, provide Sagnol with problems, and try to keep him on the backfoot as much as possible.

Luis Figo could have a big say in the outcome of this encounter. Eric Abidal can be somewhat irrational and make some silly challenges, so the Portuguese could skip past him a few times, or win some free-kicks, which could be costly with Juninho on the field.

William Gallas usually has Van Nistelrooy's number, so with him being a lone striker, I feel he could be isolated and kept out of the game.

This is another match where I can't pick a winner, so will predict a draw.

Nikos has a good team but looks very unbalanced like The Chris had already mentioned and Uniteds team looks like it means business. After a few minutes of thinking Ive decided to vote for who ever is trailling at the minute, becuase It looks a draw for me.

Nikos has some hard graft to do for his team to click in this formation and they will all have to work hard. Nikos has a very good team how ever and it will be tough. Manutd4ever has a very good team here and the formation seems more suitable for his players. You have an ageing team here and they will have to work very hard. Nistelrooy is a scorer and will thrive off the service from each wing. I say a win for Manutd4ever very close mind.

Nikos team has a lot of potential, you are just not using it right yet. I think that is why manutd4ever just takes the win here.

Pretty much touched on it.

I believe manutd4ever would win this, probably by a 2 goal margin. Ruud is a clinical finisher and with Juninho, Figo and Giggs playing in the same team, doesn't take a genius to figure out he's likely to score. I'd probably say manutd4ever has the better defence too if I'm honest. Still, though, an interesting match.

Manutd4ever 2 - 0 Nikos
