That's all for now. More to come tomorrow, including the first manager of the month being announced. Managers who receive this award will receive further transfer funds as a reward, come the end of the season, with the figure to be decided by HP and I, nearer the time. The winners of these awards will be decided by not only how your team is performing, but also activity and contributions.

Managers Of The Month
Division 1
Jose Mourinho (Figo10)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/content/images/2005/12/01/jose_mourinho_260x330.jpg
2 wins and a draw have set Galaxy FC on their way to what the fans expect to be a successful season. The summer signings of Michael Essien and Steven Gerrard have revitalised the side, and for the time being, at least, the loss of Ruud van Nistelrooy appears to have not been as great as first feared. Jose Mourinho has again shown the ability to change tactics - depending on the opposition - to great effect.
Division 2
Steve Nicol (Preki-USA)
http://soccernet-att.espn.go.com/design05/mediaUS/20050916/i_nicol_195.jpg
Despite 3 consecutive draws - much to the frustration of the fans - Steve Nicol's team have already shown a lot of promise, and appears to already be gelling into a well-oiled engine, which should be a major force in Division 2, this season. After 2 seasons of disappointment in the second tier, Nicol was superb in the transfer market, signing the likes of Michael Ballack, Didier Drogba, Adriano and Simao, to give Merseyside USA far greater firepower, than ever before. With the way the side is playing, it is surely a matter of time before the draws start to convert into wins, and the club climb up the table.
Division 3
Eric Gerets (Dimitri)
http://www.tempodergisi.com.tr/spor/09321/imperiaflex_0_0_0.jpg
3 straight losses may make Gerets a surprise winner of this award, however, beneath the surface, the Belgian has been doing some major rebuilding, and the effort has not gone un-noticed by the club's fans. With young talent such as Leighton Baines, Neri Cardozo, Silvio Proto and Hugo Viana being blooded into the team, the fans will need to stay patient, as the rebuilding process starts to take shape.
NOTE: Cash rewards (for transfer funds) will be given to managers who win these awards, at the end of the season.
Players Of The Month
Division 1
Michael Essien (Galaxy FC)
http://www.4thegame.com/media/00/03/48/essien_michael_cfc_profile_200 6.jpg
The Ghanian has began the season as a true driving force, in the heart of the midfield. He has formed an instant bond with fellow summer signing, Steven Gerrard, in what is a formidable midfield partnership. 3 fine performances, capped off by a MOTM performance in the club's most recent tussle with the ProHawks, have earned Essien the first Player Of The Month award, for Division 1.
Division 2
Filippo Inzaghi (Club Atletico Independiente)
http://almouchieoneverythingsports.bl ogs.eurosport.com/album/my_footy/filippo_inzaghi_51st_goal.7.jp g
Following two poor seasons from the Italian poacher, "Pippo" has really started the new season with a bang. 6 goals in 3 games is a sensational return from the Club Atletico Independiente striker, with those goals helping the club climb within 2 points of top spot. Inzaghi has been at his lethal best, and if he can keep up his form, Independiente will surely be looking to improve their record in Division 2.
Division 3
Pedro Pauleta (MVB Arkestra)
http://www.dw-world.de/image/0,,1795552_4,00.jpg
With 5 goals to his name already - including a thumping 30 yard drive, against Grimmers FC, which left Scott Carson rooted to the spot - the Portuguese hotshot is looking like a front-runner for the Golden Boot in Division 3. Particularly when you look at those supplying him, include Kim Kallstrom, Andres d'Alessandro, Nikos Kranjkar and Yossi Benayoun. While those players may not get the credit they truly deserve, they will be happy to take a backseat to Pauleta, when he has his shooting boots on, like he has in the opening month of the season.

Managers Of The Month
Division 1
Aidy Boothroyd (O.J.)
http://www.inthenews.co.uk/photo/adrian-boothroyd-$10854$180.jpg
Having instilled a tough mentality inside the club, Boothroyd's men pose a tough obstacle for any team to encounter. Following a excellent victory over one of the League's biggest teams; Galaxy FC, the club now sit in 6th - their highest position in history - and look instore for a very bright future, with a number of wonderfully gifted young talents at the club.
Division 2
Roberto Mancini (Del Piero 22)
http://www.columbia.co.cr/img_not/roberto%20mancini.jpg
As one of the youngest managers in the League, you could understand if Mancini had taken some time to settle in, but the Italian wasted no time in giving an exhibition of what he and his team were made of, going a whole half-season unbeaten, in both the League and Cup - a phenomenal achievement for any manager, let alone a manager in their debut season! Inexperience appears to be no problem, as the team are currently flying, with the highlight in recent matches being a victory over Division 1 side, TG Utd. With eyes firmly set on promotion, it will be of interest to see how the manager copes with being at the top of the food chain.
Division 3
Kenny Dalglish (Wellzy)
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ms/thumb/d/dc/Dalglish.jpg/200px-Dalglish.jpg
Despite being a rookie to the Fantasy League World, the newcomer is already showing signs of becoming a manager of the highest class. A number of top additions to the side, including Ze Roberto, Andriy Voronin, Steve Finnan and Jermaine Pennant and a 4 game unbeaten run (2 wins and 2 draws) leave the young side with more than a realistic chance of promotion to Division 2.
Players Of The Month
Division 1
Roberto Ayala (Scarface)
http://espndeportes-att.espn.go.com/2003/photos2005/1016/a_raton_h.jpg
The Argentine stopper has been in awesome form this season, playing a major role in Racing Club Avenido's impressive defensive record - the club have conceded only 2 goals in 10 League games - while also getting himself on the scoresheet. The Champions have a number of well-regarded defenders at the club, but Roberto Ayala has been the standard-bearer so far this season. His aggressive defending has been a menace to any striker he has been up against, and should his form continue, you couldn't bet against him leading the club to a defensive record.
Division 2
Morten Gamst Pedersen (Rafa)
http://www.4thegame.com/media/00/03/44/pedersen_morten_gamst_brfc_pro file_2006.jpg
'Gamst' has looked like a man possessed this season. His delivery has been nothing short of world class, while posing a constant attacking threat, with his ferocious left foot. Helping FC Corleone into a promotion place after a string of sensational performances, the talented Norwegian was called back from his loan spell by Rafael Benitez, and maintained his form, with an assist for David Suazo in a tense encounter with AFC Chelsea, where his assist earned Rafa FC a point.
Division 3
David Silva (Dragonfly)
http://home.skysports.com/images/1-Jan-2005/silva.jpg
Tipped by many as certs for promotion, it came as a surprise to see MVB Arkestra languishing below the promotion places. The introduction of David Silva changed all that; the young Spaniard has offered the title chasers a real outlet on the wing, with his pace, control and skill. His versatility has proved useful, often interchanging with Andres d'Alessandro and Yossi Benayoun to further torment defenders. The club now sit at the top of the division, with dreams of promotion. With the world at his feet, David Silva looks set to blossom at MVB Arkestra.

Prolific hitman
Luca Toni and Ruud van Nistelrooy both lay claim to the golden boot, following solitary goals from the pair on the final day of the season. It ends Thierry Henry's hopes of winning a third consecutive boot, falling 2 goals below the target. Van Nistelrooy and Toni have been in superb form all season, helping their clubs to impressive campaigns.
FLA Manager Of The Season
Division 1
Top Gun (Frank Rijkaard)

Good reason to smile
An incredible improvement in the second half of the season saw Rijkaard's men move from the relegation zone up to the top 5, playing a brand of exciting football, and providing tricky opponents for anyone. When installed as manager, TG United looked doomed to relegation, but the Dutchman proved an inspiration to the club, helping them rapidly climb the table and look set for another strong season with him in charge.
Division 2
Preki-USA (Steve Nicol)

Reason to be hopeful
No promotion, but an unbeaten League campaign and the start of a new era headed by Francesco Totti should help lift the gloom. Nicol managed his squad well, keeping in touching distance of the promotion places throughout and taking his team to the WCL Semi-Finals, but luck was not on the American's side this season, with a number of draws costing the team their promotion hopes, and he will hope for better fortune next season.
Division 3
Dragonfly (Arsene Wenger)

Disappointing end of season, but greatness awaits
Despite being strongly tipped for the Division 3 title, MBV Arkestra ended up in 4th place - which would be deemed unacceptable by the fans - and lost the Peace Cup final against rivals Cali FC, however Wenger has built a strong squad with much promise for the upcoming seasons and deserves credit for what he has achieved thusfar.
All managers of the season have had 10m added to their transfer budget, and each manager of the month receives 3m.
