Big thanks must go to Cantona and all who contributed as he has allowed us to use his option file as the base and I have added in the updated SPL teams.

Thanks also to SMcCutcheon for his appearances and all others who have helped make this the best SPL option file.

Seems like a good option file :-D Just home some of the players in the SPL arent over rated like the last spl optionfile daniel invincible was just like his name suggests.

yeah but many are undre rated especially the hibs team and the apps need some work sionkos head is massive for rangers

Hey. The link above works...it says download right at the bottom of the page.

When you do this you download a .rar file
You can then use:

http://www.techsono.com/ntez/index.html?source=google

and click on "Download form site #1" to extract the .max file from the .rar.

Hope you follow that...

The Rangers & Celtic squads still have certian players missing mate ( easily created though ). Also some of the spl stats are underrated, apart from that it's fine.

I was thinking of creating my own SPL option file for PES6, though i'd be happy to help you out with an update? sleaker looking badges correct squads stats etc etc. First division? Let me know if you are up for this.

What players are missing ? Rangers and Celtic fans did those teams.

It would be handy I reckon, I think the plan is still to create some other Scottish teams. I have just posted over on pesfan to see as I hadn't heard anything for a while.

OK - First time trying this - just bought the Max Drive. I downloaded the PS2 SPL option file, put it onto the USB that came with the max drive. Put the USB into my PS2 and then uncrushed the option file onto the memory card. When I go into my memory card I'm seeing a PES 6 Option file as an XPort icon as 1,227kb but when I put on PES6 it isn't recognising any option file and so isn't loading it.

Have I done something wrong?

It seems no, everything is ok, but try another option file and see what happens, and post it again.

I just tried it with the "Lennon Classic Club" option file and the same thing happened.
It's just saying 'No Option File found - loading failed'

I've got a Max drive, but cant remember now what I did 1st time. Did you install the drivers for the max drive(MaxSettings folder in the maxdrive)?and maybe try to format your memcard and start again.Cant see nothing else.

I think I did! I installed the stuff from the pc cd onto my pc and I use the ps2 cd to transfer the files onto the memory card.
Not sure what else to do.

Good work, as with the original file, although this time there appears to be
some kind of corruption with national logos. Any way to fix this? When
attempting to edit them a memory exception appears causing the game to
crash to the desktop.

Just to confirm I am working on the update for this coming season which will include the 1st division teams as well as SPL. It will be available for PS2, PS3 and PC.

Otherwise it's excellent; just had some cracking games - Edinburgh derby, Aberdeen losing out to flukey Novo goal and Killie predictably being beat by Celtic. Love the kits and squad members seems very up-to-date. Lovely balance in that Hibs team with Morais and O'Brien on either flank and even without Whittaker (as seems likely) the left and right backs still make great back-up attack.

Anyway, this is work in progress and once the rest of the world is updated then this will be a kick-ass OF. Well done!

Cheers, yes I prob should have mentioned (but you might have found them by now) that I have overwritten the 5 bottom teams from the French and Dutch leagues to create the 1st div. Glad you are enjoying, that is what it is all about.

Not bad at all! Are you doing the rest of teams? Only played with SPL but noticed EPL aint done yet but I think you said it's work in prog.

Went straight in for Aberdeen v Rangers and got humped 3-0 an 2 players sent off. The team seems worse than last season but only time will tell with new players etc.. Reckon De Visscher needs to be bit faster!!

very small details but you said to let you know so ... there's 2 Lowing's at Rangers and Ian Murray's still there (gone to Norwich), Perrier Doumbe is no longer at Celtic. Thats all I really looked at so far. There's a power of work gone in to this file, well done mate. Superb

Motherwell are weaker than they should be, fitness levels need a tweak up as well as the pace of a couple of players, the 1st div teams feel stronger.
