Hey dude, I just tried the file against the CPU. This file is realastic as ever, I won 2-1 though, I was Werder Bremen, good work on this, definitely the best around! Thanks for all your effort put into this cause it's all 100% detailing in every way! Again thanks alot!!

First, the Croatian team is missing a couple of key players, including both of our main strikers right now (Petric and Da Silva) as well as Rapaic and Corluka who are all in the starting 11...
Also, we're back to a regular 4-4-2 formation...

Also i'm not sure about the music after you score a goal...It just seems kind out of place but that could just be me...Maybe if you turned it down somewhat, because it basically totally tunes out the crowd which is really what should be the loudest after a goal...

Still, great job guys...appreciate all the hard work you guys put into this, just trying to help you improve on it...

Honestly, I dont know man, we created this file with the UK versions of PES 6. Try and download it, you wont waste more than 10 min in that, maybe it works!

Hi Kitaro, believe you me it is the simplest procedure
ever! All you do is download 2 very small programs that can convert
the X-Port version of the option file into a bin/cue version, then you put them all in one folder and save it as cue/bin (afterwhich you will burn it on a CD).. the exact procedures can be found here:

Sorry guys but we had to do this: There was a big mistake in AEK Athens squad: The player Papastathopoulos isn't a GK, he is a defender, you can correct this yourselves, or you can download the file again, from the updated links in front page, this is the only change in file, so, it wont affect your ML, we didnt notice this mistake when beta-testing the file, we apologize to all you guys, we just wanted to be honest with all of you, cause we want you to have the best OF possible. Thank you.

Great option file so far, but I have problems with the classic teams...

That's to say, why Cafu is in classic brazil when as far as I know he hasn't retired?

And where is Papin from classic france, and why Lizarazu isn't there? No Veron in classic argentina?!? I mean, come on...

Is there any way to change all that? In edit mode I couldn't find a way to move players to classic teams :(

Fade, you can only move players to the Classic teams with the PESFan Editor, you can't do it in the PES6 Edit Mode.

Hi, this is my first time trying to use options files and i have a problem
I download a copy of action replay max, dowload the pategato option file, copy to a usb drive, and uncrush it with action replay max.
And now, when i try to charge the option file in PES6, i get a error message of option file not found.

I already check that the option file is in my memory card, now i dont know what to do.

I think the problem could be that i play PES6 in spanish and it saves the option file as "archivo de opciones".

I'm interested in it....Started with it myself, but was to busy combining all different OF's. At the moment I just completely edited Feyenoord, PSV en ajax, for their abilities, positions, heights/weight, formations, etc. Appearances I just got for ADO, ajax, AZ and FC Groningen.

Hope you can post a download link somewhere here, because it would be for great help to me...

By the way: great work Goalgerd and Pategato!!

I don't use your OF completely, because I had somethings worked out a little more, like all the Bundesliga teams, and some transfers and edited players. But especially your shoes and international kits (however this took me some work to get my German kits back...but no man can avoid that) as well as the EPL kits were very usuable for my own OF. man we have been working flat out for over 1month to get this file out,you have some nerve to turn around and say that,do you know how long it took me to put all the boots on all the players it took me 4days to do it. theres more to a few hours work when you make these files ask any file maker the shit you have to go though to do it


if you dont like our file use somebody elses we are currently fixing all these problems for the benefit of all you people and thats all the thanks we get,dont think we will bother now let some other fools do it cos you just cant win making these files, nobody will ever make the perfect file

I am using somebody elses at the moment, but i want to use yours , i dont know how long it takes to do it so dont bite at me, I just use it for my benefit to make the game better and i feel if your file could do this but I would like to unlock the players myself and maybe a few other items in the shop , its not a case of me not liking the file , i do and i like the teams you have made and the kits, its just the extra players and all the secret players being unlocked puts a downer on it, I think people would agree with me on this too. In no way am i putting your file down because i dont know to do a file, if i could try i would but i dont really have the time and to be honest i wouldnt really want to put that much effort into something to make a half hearted file.

yep i know what you mean with the appaerances... i took the most from Pesfan eredivisie thread; so Ajax AZ Feyenoord PSv are almost done. for the rest of the clubs i did alot too. good skin colours hairstyles positions and created alot of players.

also changed some player stats for those who are underrated.

het beste van deze file is dat alle stadions nu het meeste overeenkomen met hun eigen thuis stadions. dus geen Ado Den Haag in Kanji dome maar Highbury (is een open stadion) enz.

hheel veel youngsters gemaakt en belangrijke missing players;

Ramzi, Engelaar, Bosschaart, Hermans, De Vries, Oude Kamphuis, Koenders, Ikedia, Fung a Wing, Schilder, Gyan, Simr, en veel meer!!

maar kan zeker hulp gebruiken alleen weet niet hoe we dat kunnen combineren

due to the timing(it nearly xmas) we have postponed the making of world soccer v1.5, we just dont have the time with work and family commitments to fix the master league bug that we now know is in the file

so if you are going to download a file for master league my advice would be to get reverts great new file,if you just want a few games with your mates then our file is as good as any.

hopefully we will get this problem fixed in early 2007,or might just wait until feb 07 to release v2 with hopefully no errors

Hey guys, definitely take a rest. There's no rush to get a new option file out. I know from bitter experience how long it takes to make changes people assume take a few minutes/hours. You have other lives and it's not like you get paid a wage to do this.

Looking forward to V2 after the transfer window. Until then I'm more thna happy with the excellence of V1.

Don't listen to the haters guys, if they are not happy with it let them sort it themselves. You can see how much work you have put into this so don't give up on it just because a few people are nit picking.

Thanks everyone for your feedback!! all the mistakes found will be fixed, the ML bug is more difficult to fix than I thought, we'll have to almost remake the whole file, goalgerd is right, it'll take time, and that we dont have for now, January 2007 is our best estimate, as he said this file is awesome for everything but ML. yeah the dupes and unused players are in the wrong places in pes editor, so thats why the master league crashes but a normal games is not affected

to fix it we will have to reasign every created player 1by1 to our default base file,this could take awhile as we created a lot of players for all the new teams we made. so be patient it might take a long time

I have taken out Hibernian and edited in DC United. All players, stats, kit (as near to as possible) looking sweet. Have used PESFAN editor for the first time so it is new to me.

If i d'load an update do i lose all the work i have done or can i transfer my DC united to future OF's i d'load from you.

Nobody is enforcing you to use our file, you are free to try any file you want, I know there's a lot of things to fix, that's why we asking for feedback, to do a better job fixing the file, no need to insult us for that.

I am using this OF and it is amazingly good. Thanks for your effort. But I have a small problem. I am trying to complete the roster of my team (AEK Athens), so I start to edit some new players. When I finish editing the game says that the new player is stocked but actually the edited player disappears (this happens only to this OF). Any ideas?

As a guide:

Pre-process recommendation - make sure you copy your existing option file to another memory card, just in case.

1. Download the option file to "My Received Files"
2. Install MD software on PC
3. Connect MD to USB port on PC
4. Go to "My Received Files" and right click on the downloaded option file.
5. "Copy" to "Max Drive F:" (should be the bottom option).
6. Take MD out of USB port on PC
7. Put PS2 MD disk in PS2, then turn off PS2
8. Connect MD to USB port of PS2 and switch on PS2
9. Press x to skip past Datel marketing film
10. Choose "My Devices"
11. Choose memory card with your current option file on it
12. Select your current option file and delete it.
13. Back to "My Devices" and select the MD
14. Select the PES4 Option file in the left hand window
15. Choose "Uncrush to MC" ( either number 1 or 2 - whichever memory card you want the option file to go to)
16. Switch off PS2
17. Boot up Pro Evo 6
18. Enjoy.

:welcome2: Edrising! enjoy the site, first thing I need to know is, which platform are you playing PES 6 in? ps2? PC?, well, since you're in North America (like me) I will assume you have PC version. Here's what you have to do:

1. Download our file from one of the PC links, save it in my downloads.
2. go to: my documents/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 6/save/folder 1
3. Remove the option file you have over there (KONAMI-WIN32PES6OPT) if you've made your own editing, you'd want to save it elsewhere in case you dont like our file.
4. Move our file from my downloads to my documents/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 6/save/folder 1 (please note all PES 6 PC option files have the same name, DO NOT CHANGE IT, if you do, the file wont work.
5. Start the game and enjoy!! :)

you dont need to install any software in your PC, the max drive works like any USB flash drive, The Messiah already explained the details to do it.

Cheers for the file guys, most impressive. One thing I've noticed though, and this may well be something I'm doing wrong since I've not seen anyone else with this problem, is that some teams when they are selected don't have the formation they have in the edit mode. For example, I've changed the arsenal formation to have rosicky and hleb on the flanks but when I select them and go to play a game their formation/lineup is very strange, with Toure at LB and Ljungberg starting in midfield.

To rectify this, I go to data management, then copy formation, and then i copy the "default formation" to now in use. This does fix it (so does saving the stock data too) but....it just seems strange that the teams do not line up how they do as they are saved in edit mode.

Nice work! I'm satisfied that you want to make a detailed option file. This one is good but there are some mistakes (more or less important).

There are mistakes at Panathinaikos squad in every single option file i looked so far.
1. Salpingidis is Gekas (Gebas), take him out (now in Bochum) and register Salpingidis from National Greek Team. Also there (Greek team) turn back the default name of the fake Salpingidis (Gekas is the right).
2. Next, change Ivanschitz back to his default name and take him out (this player is actually Haralambidis) and register the real Ivanschitz from Austria.

The edited AEK athens have some serious appearance mistakes.
1. There are some greek players skinned black!Change them all.
2. Julio Cesar is in real-life bold and Sorrentino has hair. Pautasso is from Argentina not from Netherlands. Emerson is black & Ivic is white.
3. Take out edited Lyberopoulos and put the real one from Greece.
4. Three important players are missing: Manduca, Delibasic & Hetemai

It would be great if you could edit the missing defender Julio Cesar of Olympiakos.

Most important:
WHERE is Oliver Kahn????

All these I noticed them by half an hour searching the edit mode.An update option file (maybe fixed 1.5) is needed soon and i hope the absence of Kahn is the only important.
I noticed that also Cafu, Maldini and Stam are not in the game. Please do something soon!
By the way this is the best try of making the perfect OF I've ever seen so far.

I beg you excuse my poor english.

I know the way to use your OF (English version) at least with the Spanish version (I suppose that it’ll work with other language versions).

We must have X-Port software and cable and PesFan Editor. Then we will transfer our OF from our PS2 to the PC, using X-Port

First, we start PesFan Editor and we open our OF Spanish version.
Second, we open Pategato’s OF
Third, in “Tools menu” we select “Convert OF2 > OF1”. So that we will support tne name "PES6ARCHIVOOPCIONES" in our memory card and it will work in Spanish version
Fourth, in “File menu” “Save as …” with the name we want
Finally, we will transfer with X-Port (restore option) the new file from the Pc to our PS2, and that’s right.


I read in forum there’s some troubles using you OF in Master League. I’ve edited new faces and teams based in your OF and I’d like to know if it will be necessary to edit again all the faces when you fix the Master League bug.

V2 will be released february 2007, it's a long wait, I know, but we want to release file with updated rosters after transfer window, I could post file right now, as it is now, is way better than v1, I've played ML with growth option for almost 2 seasons and there's no sign of bugs so far, so, be patient guys, we promised an improved flawless file, and we're working hard on it.

Well, basically we had to re-make the file in at least a 70%, the ML bug ocurred when we created the teams in league C, we had to use a default file as base to re-create file, then copy all parameters like stats, apps, boots, etc. from same file loaded in another memory card, my pal goalgerd did that, it saved us a lot of work, I cant explain exactly what he did, cause I have PC version. :)

You've spent a lot of time in your ML, 8th season, my advice is: continue your ML with the same file you're using now, cause if you use our file or any other file, many things will change a lot, and maybe you wont like it, and, our v.1 has an annoying bug that freezes ML after 1st season, wait for our v.2.

I am a big pro evo fan, however for some reason i am finding it very difficult to patch/load option file my ps2 pro evo game.I have wasted about 5 DVD's trying to burn the cd that loads option files onto mem card and same amount of dvd's trying to patch my pe6.

Pategato & Goalgerd Just want to say "Thank You" for a great option file. A Few things need changing but i see you have it all in hand and look forward to the new version. Im not gonna ask when it comes out as i do read previous threads like some others don't LOL

Anyway i hope you both didn't mind but ive made the file as a .ISO file so its ready to burn straight to CD abit like the BIN / CUE version but just an alternative to those who may still want it in this format.

heres the best thing konami ever did(thanks to john lennon696 for this piece of genius)


all you need is 2memory cards

right load up our file on memory card 1 in ps2
go into edit mode
next go in edit data manager in option file settings(down near the bottom)
right take the 2nd mem card which has your champ teams on it
and load it up

this is the best bit,you can now transfer any info from the 2nd mem card to the 1st file

so go to edit player
select edit single team
then where your champ teams match our v1 teams just click copy all

hey presto your champ teams now on our file it that easy

then if you want to add your kits logos and badges do the same thing

for team info just go to edit team
select edit single team,then match it up again
same then with logos and badges

man its a godsend this little trick,you can also copy over stats boots apps with this

check the screen where you select stadium, footballs, referees, go to page 2 and select no-auto lineup, than save it afterwards.

A problem I would like altering in V2 of the option file is that...for example Robbie Keane, I think he should be R. Keane, only players like Luis Garcia should be labelled with both names in full! other than that roll deep option file! any chance of that?

Nice file but when I was doing multiplayer there were some strange settings like one controller was on FIFA controls and the other had that manual pass thing turned on so it kept passing without being told to! I sorted it out of course.

Well like many other people I am eagerly awaiting V2 of your option file. Do you have any idea of a release date because I'm going to hold off playing Pro Evo untill it comes out. And what can we expect on V2, what key changes have you made?

Just to go back to a much earlier post, I am using V1 of the OF and for some reason Kahn, Cafu and a few other players have appeared in their teams as 'Unregistered'? Is this just a little bug that will be sorted out in V2?

V1 is in my opinion the BEST OF I have used since Watsons on Pro Evo 5 (despite the few problems within it-which will hopefully be rectified for V2!!??). There is a good one on PESFan by a guy called Titch which has all the Prem, Championship and Lower English Leagues on but I much prefer playing with the BIG teams.

Looking forward to V2, appreciate the hard work that's gone into it!!

Even though i am argentinian i have a special request. instead of ca velez sarsfield and ca independiente who arent that popular in World Soccer V.2 could u replace them with African Champions El Ahly and North American Champions LA Galaxy. Plus Beckham is going to LA Galaxy. Beckham cant be removed from the game. El Ahly has also got a great player named Mohammed Aboutreka. He was in the nominations of african player of the year but michael essien got it. pleeeease do the replacement in World Soccer V.2 OF for my pro evolution friends across the world.
