It's not Sneijder's favoured position(his favourite would be a more left-orientated position, perhaps where Wilhelmsson is now). Still, it's an interesting formation. I think the defence could contain Rooney and Torres, but the wingbacks might have trouble with Ribery and Reyes.

But, lets face it, a team with as much quality as Reyes' team isn't going to lose alot. I definitely think Figo can put up a good fight though, however Reyes is the winner here for me.

I honestly don't see how Reyes' team won't beat figos team at least 4-0 here. I don't really like the formation you've used here figo, seems a bit all over the place; unorganised. Whereas Reyes' team seems to have a great balance and some real quality throughout. Is this your 2nd team Figo? I sure hope it is

Yeah it is, appreciate that you rate my team Mike, it'll come back in the next few league games when it's more practical :)

And thanks for the advice Barry.

Is pretty obvious that James wins here, but I love what Figo do: put his 2nd team to complete the Squad Rotation vs a team thats is impossible to beat. Very good tactic Figo, very good.

Everyone has to rotate, just a tough choice whether you do it against James or not. For this match, James comfortably picks up the victory and I can see Rooney having a field day up and down O'Shea's side. When Figo's wing-backs burst forward all that James' needs to do is play it to either Ribery or Reyes and it's immediate pressure and it'll stretch the defence. I can't see Figo's team pushing up against James' back line either as it's simply too solid.

If Figo were to field his 1st team then it would be more interesting, maybe James would still take it though.

Figo 0 - 3 James

I expected James to win...but 11 votes versus 0?

Yeah well if everyone gets his squad rotation done versus James he'll walk the league with no effort at all

Reyes here aswell. I like that tactic of Figos to get his rotation out of the way and then try and compete for 2nd. Has Reyes ever lost or even drawn for that matter

The current voting trend doesn't give me confidence that I can take something from this game. I'd have liked to field my strongest team, but voting as a whole does not favour my team very much, so James will field his strongest team and most probably beat mine. I apologise for not trying for the good of the FL, but I'll do so when it's more practical, in the second half of the season perhaps.

I'll take any number of votes to zero as I honestly don't deserve anything fer this effort

Never against my team.

That is some word, Nedy :D

He will do, with our best teams or not. Is nothing against James, he built an unstoppable complete team, not only an excellent eleven. He has excellent subs players, so I think that is pretty hard to beat him. He work a lot in his team and create a fabolous squad, so I think that is obvious that his team is unbeatable.

But what I will say is this -

Why does everyone play a weak team against reyes? At least TRY and give him some competition, the poor bloke is going to be bored shitless!
Some people in the top league have got very good teams and people may vote for you.

Thanks for the praise, Nedy, but I honestly don't feel my team is unbeatable. Not the team i've fielded in this game, at least.

There's no need to sympathise. I feel more sorry for guys like Dimitri and The G (although he's not around currently) who have very under-rated teams. I'd rather have an over-rated than under-rated team, is what i'm trying to say.

I can understand what Figo has done, as i've beaten strong teams fielded by Barry and Nikos 3-0, when both games should have been closer, so that might have influenced his decision, although if we both fielded our top sides, I think it should be close.

I will do, for sure.
