[PS2] Flipper's densely-populated option file - 100s of players created

I have created hundreds of players and updated every squad in the game, almost.

I've gone through every official website for every team in the Premiership, Ligue 1, Serie A, La Liga and the other teams and created every player listed that isn't in PES6. I've also looked at appearance statistics and created other players who have made league appearances but are not listed on the websites.

This amounts to lots of players. Every classic national team and retired PES Shop player has been overwritten, as well as all the edited slots and some of PES and WE United.

However, I have omitted the Eredivisie, Djurgardens and Rosenborg as I plan to overwrite them completely with the Bundesliga, SPL and missing Champions League teams.

I've tweaked some formations and other things. Created player apperances are basic because I personally don't think they're that important. But they're no worse than Konami's default efforts!

In summary:

Hundreds of players created (listed in Notepad files)
All teams covered apart from the Eredivisie which I will eventually overwrite
Basic appearances done
Some player postions and formations changed
Most of the usual stuff - stadiums, league and cup names etc. also done
Kits imported from cantona_21's file - thanks to him

And please don't say crap like "this is crap, Ivano Baldanzeddu's got a bigger nose than that" or "this is crap, Alecsandro should be quicker than that".

I've spent ages doing this. I've read up about players as much as possible, where possible. I will admit that I have used the stats converter when I know nothing or can find nothing about a player. But as that converter is inherently inaccurate I've tweaked stats to be more so using my phenomenal knowledge!

Suggestions, improvements, discrepancies, comments - all welcome. Just keep them clean and constructive.

Well, yes.

Only retired PES Shop players have been overwritten.

There's nowhere near enough editable slots, bearing in mind that using Editable National players makes the Master League crash.

I've just had a look at this in PESfan editor and all the dutch teams remain and the Teams A,B,C.. haven't been updated. The Premiership however looks belting. Any clues on the release of the complete file?

The number of players created...

The fact that the stats tie in with the rest of the game...

-- how many option files are there out there with totally ridculous direct fm-style stats, or perhaps worse still, stats that are super generous to less than spectacular players

The research... I'm not sure people know exactly how much time you must have put into this. I for one know that it took me an eternity to confirm squads and squad numbers -- there were plenty of mistakes in the pesfan v1, and players wrongly named and others overwritten --
that's where the log notes included came extremely handy :)

P.S. Flipper, would it be ok to import these players into my own option file (and credit you where credit is due), as it would save me an enormous amount of time. Pretty much everyone seems to be realeasing the same option file with a few minor differences here and there, so i've decided that i might share my own this year in the hope that people will start being less lazy and contribute something new or better.

And as for people that moan, espescially over this file, here's a word of advice: don't like it - find something else, or simply do it yourself
