England is a sell out and ill tell you why!?!?!?!?
Football has been through a bad patch with allegations of rape drugs and gambling. But compared to the torrid time of the 1980's its nothing!!! there was never really a problem people just accepted it as part of the game and were astonished at how players could cope with these allegetions against them and the realised the press made 80% of it up. But ever since england had reached the final of rugbys world cup the press and the majority of england have been slagging off football saying its terrible sleazy and rugby is better and a better game, now dont get me wrong i watched the rugby and was glad to see us win it but what pisses me off is that jonny wilkison is a national hero and every1 is on the back of beckham suggesting hes not good enough or worthy enough to be seen as a brit by some people.i like jonny wilkison hes down to earth but in a space of a week our small and fickle country has made beckham seem like a tossed out banana skin, the only bit of joy i received is that becks received an OBE yet most of england is calling for a knighthood for wilkison COME ON!!! if any player from that team should be knighted it should be Martin Johnson but i could go on all day. two put it short, england has sold football out joining the side of rugby degrading football and building rugby to be the 'new national sport' to quote 1 newspaper. Im football through and through and any person that suggest football should be turfed out and rugby to replace it needs to have a look at the togetherness of england during 2002 world cup and what it will be like in 196 days to euro 2006 in portugal.
Our country was summed up in a short paragraph and it took an australian to do it. our countries representative Queen 'Liz is a mockery of this country and Tony blair has no support from his people this country cant stand people doing well and will do anything to knock them down'
ill get off my soap box and put it in jens lehmann terms to sum up, this country is now against our national sport just cos another sport has done well it makes me glad tim henman hasnt won wimbledon imagine the scenes
thnx from English and jus tollerating it
