How to transfer the OF onto you Memory Card/Hard Drive:

Using PS2 Max Drive...
1. Download the file
2. Plug the max drive in to the PC
3. Right click on Option File>send to Max Drive,
4. Plug max drive into USB port on PS2
5. Load up Max Drive software for PS2
6. Uncrush to memory card

Using PS2 X-Port...
1. Import the .xps file into your X-Port database using the X-Port software
2. Select and choose the 'Restore' option to transfer the option file onto your memory card.

Using PC...
1. Download the option file
2. Put the OF in C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 6\save\folder1
3. Make sure it's called KONAMI-WIN32PES6OPT

Note: If you already have an existing option file on your memory card or hard drive, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it. If your current file is one you might want to go back to then you will want to back the file up first, before transferring this Option File.

If you follow these instructions, you should have no problems. :)

Stats have not been edited but they might do in later versions of my OF, I'll think about it

The PC one should be availiable either tonight or tomorrow. It isn't up currently as the save kept playing up

You can't change the footballs in an option file ;)

I'm already working on V2 and I've done all the transfers so far for most of the premiership.

The duplicates are being replaced by new players (like the duplicate Drogba is now Dong Fangzhou)

All is going well so far ;)


BTW what should I do with the classics?

Please leave the classics, They must stay there, i was hoping someone could one day pay attention to the classics, not even one face is accurate, nor the kits. I hope you leave it or make 2 versions. one with and the other without.

Great OF mate, but I do agree with the munich/moscow switch becuase I dunno if any1 else notices that say your barca in 2nd dividion in the ml, cska will try to buy (e.g) xavi where as it should be bayern munich. Just my opinion though m8, great OF

Yes,it's possible.
But you can't do it with OF.
You need to use patches.

I know that it is possible for PC (use kitserver and other patches), but i want to patch PlayStation2 version of the game, NOT PC game.

G33k, the problem is some OF got the shop's item's all unlocked what causes the classic players to spoil the ML. What you can do is download PESfan Editor and load the OF and lock the shop's points, save it and start a new game..

The one I'm using is one of the early ones so it hasn't got the boots which I would like but I am in my 10th season so don't want to lose all the hard work I have put in to develop the youngsters

depends on which OF you were using...

you could back up your current OF on your max-drive and store it on your PC. You could then try mine and see if it works OK with your ML...

all you need is 2memory cards

right load up our file on memory card 1 in ps2
go into edit mode
next go in edit data manager in option file settings(down near the bottom)
right take the 2nd mem card which has your champ teams on it
and load it up

this is the best bit,you can now transfer any info from the 2nd mem card to the 1st file

so go to edit player
select edit single team
then where your champ teams match our v1 teams just click copy all

then if you want to add your kits logos and badges do the same thing

for team info just go to edit team
select edit single team,then match it up again
same then with logos and badges

man its a godsend this little trick,you can also copy over stats boots apps with this

this teams are not Brazilian Teams, only a few of them is from Brazil, i thinkyou guys should make and OF with all the 12 biggest brazilian teams, such as my own team Botafogo, that is not on that list but is th 12th biggest club of last century and the team with more players in the team of the century! Brazilian league is also the most important league to the soccer history, layer such as Pelé and Garrincha played in this league for years

Hi. First of all, thanks for the nice OF, but I have one question - when I change something (screen position for example) and try to save the changes in the option file, I get this:
"Error occured.
Failed to save.
retry / cancel"

Will you fix the kits for Serbia&Montenegro (by the way, the name of the sate is only "Serbia" now), now they have Nike equipment, shirt-red, shorts-blue and white socks. Hi. First of all, thanks for the nice OF, but I have one question - when I change something (screen position for example) and try to save the changes in the option file, I get this:
"Error occured.
Failed to save.
retry / cancel"

What could be the problem?

And I agree with Djole82, it would be great to see the updated Serbia with new kits etc for v2.

Right, I will release v2 this weekend (tonight or sunday). I'd wait for this, as v2 is even better than v1 with errors fixed, new kits, transfers etc.

I have updated some ingame apps but the good news is, I've got a friend from PESFan working with me now, so v2.5/v3 will have loads of changed appearances.

I decided to download that option file...it looks fine!but many players of german league are like that ones we can edit!you didnt change their face!many of them!and what i said...there are many players too with the faces of real players...maybe they look like the real ones and thats not necessary to work on its faces..but there will be many players with the same faces...i think its more real to work on every face of created players and just dont pick the prefaces ones!!but ofcourse,if you want!its just an idea!and the bayern munchen could be put in league C for sure!good work :P

This is what you need to do: (if you're using Max Drive and PS2)

1.Download the file
2.Unzipp it
3.Stick the Max Drive USB in your computer
4.Copy + Paste the file to Max Drive
5.Stick the Max Drive CD in your PS2 and wait for it to load (might take a few re-starts on the PS2 to get it working)
6.Plug in the Max Drive USB
7.Go to Choose, View or Select (can't remember!) Devices and select the USB
8.Highlight the option file, go to the options on the right hand side and select 'Uncrush' and it'll put it on your memory card
9.Restart the PS2, take the Max Drive disc and USB out and inserts PES6 disc.

To be honest though you might aswell wait for V2 now.

Superb option file mate, but noticed a few minor errors for some prem clubs. Sorry! Wrong Song at Charlton (should be the Song from Arsenal on loan), wrong Insua at Liverpool, 2 Williamsons at Watford, no Fernandes at Everton... guess im just picky. But overall its fantastic, top job!

Great file though, the Dutch Classic jerseys look awesome although it would have been nice to have the option, perhaps as a second strip, to wear the traditional bright orange. Big fan of the Classic kits though, and the other international kits. The club kits are great too.

I'm uncrushing it, otherwise I wouldn't be able to use it. ;) This is the process: I download the .max file, put the usb stick in my PC, copy it on the stick, put the usb stick in my PS2, put the Max CD in PS2, go to my devices > select usb > select the file and choose "uncrush" to memory card.

I can load the option file just fine when I go into options / data control / load option file, but not in any other way.

Format your memory card. I've had to do that a few times but I've had my card wiped before by the Datel software anyway through no fault of my own.

First off, this is a fantastically done OF. And all credit to you for releasing it so soon after the transfer window closed.

Unfortunately (or fortunately!) I haven't found any errors that i can let you know about that hasn't been stated already. But i would like to ask that you add a few young players to Real Madrid. Miguel Torres, a right fullback, has recently established himself in the first team and is performing brilliantly. Juan Manuel Mata and Alberto Bueno formed an unstoppable strike partnership in the recent UEFA u-19 championship, and Esteban Granero is a very highly rated youngster who plays in the Spain U-21 national team. Last but not least, Adan, a goalkeeper who has represented Spain at all youth levels and is regarded as highly as Iker Casillas was at his age.

If you could add some or all of these players into Real Madrid it would be great. I would be happy to furnish you with details if you are interested.

Nice work!!!...the only thing in the OF that is not so good are the player stats...some players are well rated and some are underated...

the game will be more fun if the players have realistic stats!!! notic that for v3 ;-)

great OF mate...few things though

most transfers are done, but some of the la liga squads are a bit behind eg villereal have no somoza or fuentes

boots are well done but badly assigned eg barcelona the players who normally have dark boots (zambrotta, etoo, deco all have white and vice versa)

first of all thank you for this great OF.

unfortunately there are some small mistakes in the german league.

jarolim from Hamburg has short blond hair but he is bald.
benjamin from Hamburg has no nationality although he is from namibia.
the sponsor on the berlin jersey has a red square around the "DB".

would be cool if you could fix that in V.3, to make this OF better than it is already.
if you want i can look for more mistakes in the german bundesliga.

This is bull man, I've trusted your Option File but its way off being a decent one. There are still players missing, the nationalities are sometimes wrong, african players look european and vise versa.
AEK athens creation is a joke, you got their player's nationalities and ethnic backrounds all mixed up. I'm looking to download something better.

EDIT: Ow and I always get a 1224 kb file when I uncrash it. And then the file doesn't work :(

EDIT 2: OK, got it working now, but can't run it from the start. Need to manual load the OF from Load Data. Yet I can't save a thing. I can't move it aswell, says corrupted file. Tho, it's working, still would like to know how to get those last bugs out.

also while playing with liverpool, with Wide Camera, Carraghar looks bold? is this the same for everyone?

and the classic kits were great exept, only Germany had the right emblems, the others were just flags, I really hope you can fix the emblems with these as well:

Brazil is perfect

France is perfect

England: 1966

Italy: 1970

Argentina is Perfect

thanks, il keep an eye out, great OF mate and i have tried them all at this stage, i used to work on OF myself on PES 3etc...but never used Pes Fan editor, can you point me right direction to download it and a help page?.. Is it hard to run?

btw: you seem to have a lot of spare emblem space, can you maybe add soem national ones?..Just to fill up the kits for WC etc, other OF have the likes of Ivory coast etc... May aswell use the space hey :)

just wanna make a request for v3 & see if it'd be possible for you to include a proper updated Northern Ireland team for your next update? I've mentioned this a few times to other people here but the fact remains that we never get much attention when it comes to option files and Konami havn't changed our team since PES3!! But the fact is we're actually a decent team now, we've beaten England and Spain in competitive matches recently and deserve some OF treatment!! Anyway, I reckon your OF is the best on the net & it's the 1 I've been using for the ultimate pro evo experience so would it be possible for you to have a look?
