Match room participation

sorry if this is an obvious qsn...how do yet get to play 2player vs 2player matches, as in 4 seperate consoles? I have the Guest players thing sorted, but when I'm on my lonesome, I would like some 2vs2 action, but not sure how it works.

maybe I am being naive? I go into 'Room Selection' and choose a room with 3 people in it,thinking they may want another player. However, I am not given the option of 'Participate in match' which I thought was how you get to play in the next match?

People who want 2v2 games normally call their rooms 2v2, go in there and then participate. Im not sure what is happening if u are not given the option to participate - strange. What you could do is call your room 2v2 and wait for 3 more ppl. That should work fine.
