IT’S FINALLY ARRIVED!!

Welcome to my V2.5 update of my previous option file. This updates now includes new classic teams, as well as the teams from V2, including Classic Spurs, Everton and Benfica, and other teams , such as Premiership Flop Squad!. There are also updated stats and appearences for lots of players and updated kits.

Just before anybody asks, I have included players in ONE CLUB SQUAD ONLY EACH. So PELE is only at New York Cosmo’s, TAIBI is only at Torino etc.

This is so you do not get duplicate players in Master League Mode.

The only players I have duplicated are the players for the Master League Youth squad, this is so you can buy them at the first opportunity in Master League.

This is without doubt the best option file out, the classic teams is a great idea, just one request though if u ever do another update on your option file, I would love classic celtic and classic rangers in it but apart from that ur option file is perfect, WELL DONE!

might have to remove the PC VERSION, one member reported that some Classic kits are still the same old club kits.

Good work here johnny boy. It's interesting to see how you've rated the players which haven't been created by someone. For the most part they are quite similar to mine, which must mean we're doing something right. There are a few mistakes for sure, but I bet mine will have some too.

Currently struggling on Celtic & Marseille. :(

As for an Italian version. I think all you need is an Italian option file and then load your file as OF2 (pesfan editor) and then just copy it over to the first file.

If it's Leo 21's then I've already got it, but thanks for the offer. Those sort of files are more quantity rather than quality. That's why I commend what you have achieved in your files.

As for the mistakes, it's mainly the registered positions of some players. If you wait until Sunday when I release my file then you can compare it to mine.

Yeah of course you can use them, I actually encourage it. Not because I'm big headed thinking it's the best out there, it's just so concentration can be spent on other players so these sorts of files get better with each day. Plus what's the point of loads of people all creating the same players? Waste of time really.

IMO apps are the easiest part, it's the stats that can be a real pain. Each to their own...

How do you get apps then, i usually get pics of the players and try my best to create them.

Yeah exactly how I do them. Just get a decent profile picture (if possible) and then try your best to create them. I know the build face like the back of my hand so that really helps (they haven't changed it since PES5, cheap bastards!) Some players can look pretty good while others leave alot to imagination. But as long as they are similar to the said player then that's usually good enough.

Now don't get me started on height/weights...

I have had to remove the PC VERSION, because some of the Classic Kits do not appear in Match Situation.

The PS2 File remains unaffected and works 100%

is there any way I can transfer edited players from one option file to another, ive tried using the data transfer thing in the editing screen but cant find the players I want to transfer.

If you have the PESFAN Editor, then yes you can.

No, I changed all kits and I swapped the Classic Liverpool Team with Prem legends and just put in the 80's logo, the prem legends still have the old badge and are called classic liverpool but my mates will only pick real teams (Liverpool, United , Real barca etc) I reckon it wont matter either way

I have tried to D/L it but doesnt seem to work, woul dlove that and start workin on soem OF's..

You need Java 1.5 or higher on ur computer for the Editor to work, when you download the file, you might need to unzip it first.

Yeah that;s it, when you download it, open the folder it comes in and, if you are on XP, open up the file - start.bat, and then click Yes if a message comes up, it should come on then.

First though, you need to convert your MAX option file to XPS, so it can load up on the Editor, that converter can be found on the same site. :)

You got a point about doing fuck all, i might change it in future for a early 80's kit or the ones you mentioned.

I just get good pictures of the Emblems, then my mate puts them on photoshop, makes them as emblems and saves them as 64x64 PNG's, then import them using the PESFAN Editor, they are proper Emblems, no patching involved.

You download a MAX OF from the net, stick it on that, it is just a USB stick really, then put it in your PS2 Usb slot, load up MAX software, and put the OF on ur mem card.

Open up your main OF as option file 1, then click on open, then Open OF2, load mine or whoever's you need the data from.

Then double click on a player you want to type over and click on import from OF 2 ( at bottom right), a list of players will come up from OF2, just double click again on thier names and there you go. :)

The emblems need to be indexed and 128 or 16 colours, i think you do this using photoshop, but i don't know how, and be in PNG or GIF format, not JPEG.

Best chance is to register on pesfan.com, there is a logo request thread there and you can ask there for them to be done properley.

As for the licensed kits, if you open up your option file in the PESFAN Editor, then click open OF2, open up a default PES6 OF, then go to Team, double click on a team, then a list of teams come up, double click on a unlicensed team, like villa, and there yiu go.

You then need to change team name and Embelm on the PESFAN editor, and it unlocks the kit to be edited in the game's editor.

Iv'e sent you the file back at both email address's.

For some reason, when somebody plays a match, the classic teams kits, like inter, don't appear, just the old team ones, like brugges.

I have been told, as i don't have PC Version, only barca and milan show up.

About the Classic National issue, Konami does not include any players before the 1960's. This and the fact that the first XI is filled by arguably their best ever team. In an all-time team of course Djalma & Nilton Santos, Billy Wright, Finney, Fontaine, Kopa, Didi etc etc would all figure in their respective teams.

Thankfully all of the mentioned have been created at some point (PES4 if I remember rightly) so it can easily be corrected.

Yeah, so when you click on strip you have 3 sections, the left is A, the middle is B, and the right is C, then just count down on each one! and there are FIVE SECTIONS to create a strip.

He was 58.

As a fan of your work, you know I downloaded your latest Classic OF v. 2.5 and it worked great...until today!

I started last week a World League with only the classic club teams, everything was going perfect. After playing I saved the game, etc. (normal stuff) but today when I started to play, I noticed that all players from Leagues A, B & C are all mixed up!

For example, I started playing my World League with Classic AC Milan and today all original players are missing! All of a sudden my AC Milan squad are players that never played for AC Milan.

Do you have any explination for this to happen?

That Max Drive thing is annoying that it corrups mem cards, thank god i read about it first!!

I've re-formatted my MC...then i crushed your OF but still have same problem. Although the OF appears on my screen, it just won't load!!

Urrr...now i'm really annoyed !!

Maybe I should just buy a new MC ? Or will the problem still occur with a new MC ? I just don't know what to do.

@americano.. lol.. u sound like a true newbie to this.. no problem.. yr porblem is dead simple.. as u said u reformatted tha MC.. now yr problem is to get tha OF to tha memory card using tha MAX software and tha USB.. u should go on tha USB then ''uncrush'' not ''crush''.. uncrush to tha memory card and then there should not be any problems.. u must've done something wrong in tha process that would have that result u got

Download winrar, a lot like winzip, its free on download.com, i would do it, but this is not my computer i'm using.

@Americano: Yeah, just relaised, you need to UNCRUSH to Mem Card, not Crush, if that was you doing.

I think you load up winrar, open the file, then click on extract to...., and choose where you want to put the file, i.e on desktop.

Now that you mention it, I think I did "uncrush" (not sure now - damn I'm so confused). Oh well, I'm gonna do everything all over again. I sure hope I'll get through it this time.

surprised a bit havent found Bill Slater in your Classic Wolves. He was voted as a Fotballer of the Year in 1960 so perhaps a good addition

What I think is that Classic Wolves gotta follow generally legendary team of Fifties with two exclisions - Bull and Cullis. They were a real force for those days, one of the best teams in Europe. Later line-ups of course contain a lot of valuable players but as a team they failed to reach same heights. Then formation should be perhaps as listed below. 2-3-5 of course :)

jugdement, just get research from the net or from any videos, and see what thier strengths were and other attributs, obviosly you can't get them 100%, but at least give them something mildly accurate.

Sounds like a memory card issue, the total size of a save free mem card is about 7980kb, with the system fig.

By using the pesfan editor to duplicate them.

Register them to a club , then got to edit player, where you can create your own, click on one, click on base copy and choose these players.

Repeat for all of them

Or, on PESFAN Editor, untick safe mode, and register them to a club.
