Introduction

Many of you will have heard of my option file which is proving to be one of the most popular OF's on the market.

The American version of PES has released recently too and OF makers have been trying to convert their European OF's into an American Version.

However although kits and boots transfer fine, a face bug appeared which meant all the faces got mixed up. This meant you could be having Theirry Henry looking like Victor Valdes, Robinho looking like Beckham etc. This was a big problem and it looked like it would go unsolved.

However '2 left feet' (a member on here) tried a new idea and has spent lots of time fixing it. The result is you get my brilliant option file, with the best kits around, january transfers etc and have the faces correct as well.

This thread is mainly aimed at owners of the American PES6. Anyway download, try out and enjoy the option file.

1. Place .psv file folder "ROOT:\PS3\EXPORT\PSV\filename. psv"
2. On PS3 menu, go to Game then Memory Card Utility (PS/PS2)
3. Select your device and the Option File
4. Copy the Option File to an internal memory card
5. Set the internal memory card to Slot 1 and it will load at start-up of PES 2007

This link is down for me too. But I have a question. Can someone help me? I don't have a MAX drive nor an X-PORT but I do have SHARKPORT have had it and been transferring from my CPU to PS2 for years...How do I convert it from one of those files to mine I usually don't have a problem but now I am. Normally, I just change the filename

Download a program called PS2 Save Builder. You can use it to convert all sorts of PS2 saves. And I can't seem to download it either.

I downloaded and checked the file, the only problem that still exists is in the bundesliga...a lot of look alike baldie players

So, there basically seems to be 2 American OF's...Pategato's and PESCrazy's. PESCrazy has fixed the faces first, but Pategato's fixed version is coming out soon. Is there any clear advantage one file will have over the other?

Forgive my ignorance here as I'm new to this whole option file thing. I bought a max drive in anticipation of this game coming out, and have been successfully able to "uncrush" these option files to my memory card. But on the memory card, they show up as PES6 files and NOT Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 option files. Hence, when I try to load them into my US version of the game, they are unable to be found.

Am I missing something obvious here? Do I have to rename them or something???

Just download the WE/PES 2007 option file.

It was created for PES6 but it's compatible with WEPES2007 now.

The faces still aren't perfect. One example I remember is Chris Sutton of Aston Villa. But besides that it's great. With this option file this game is almost as licensed as an Xbox 360 Fifa.

Man, I'm positive I'm downloading the correct file. It shows up as PES6 save when I browse the memory card. Yet, when it goes to load the optionfile during the boot of the game, it just doesn't find it.

Make sure you copy it to the Max Drive, then in the Max Drive software choose to uncrush the PES6 file to your memory card. If you straight copy it it will not work.

Initially you'll get some bullshit about option files when you first boot up. Hit cancel. It should go to load the option file now.

Also make sure you are getting the file that was uploaded a few days ago - there's still some links to the Feb 2 version, which does not work with American WE, floating around.

Good to hear that most of the players in the OF have the correct faces. However I didn't have the in depth knowledge about the different players to know if they were correct. If your favourite (hahaha...that's Canadian...inside joke ;) ) squad has the wrong appreance, you can fix them easily by going through the edit menu within the game. Set the "head" parameters to default, and edit from there..

If you downloaded the OF from the link on the first page of this thread, it should work. Ignore the file name of the option file on you memory card after you uncrush it, although it says PES6 OPTION FILE, it should be the OF modded to work with the American version. Unless the link directing you to the wrong file, you may have another problem.

PESCRAZY maybe change the text label on the file name to avoid any confusion between the PES6 and WE:PES2007...my bad for not thinking about that before sending the file to you.

Here's some feedback.
Unfortunately, this OF doesn't really reflect pescrazy's original OF in PES6. All of the bundesliga teams are pretty much awful. Most players have bald hair with all 60 stats in Bundesliga. It's nearly impossible for us to change their apperance, stats, etc in in-game edit mode.

Also, like somebody mentioned before in this thread, some players have horrible apperance and nationality. DongFangZhou who is from China is a black dude :( LeeDongGook who is from Korea is white dude :(

thanks for the feedback qwhh, it is too bad to hear that the file is that messed up. The players in North America are really suffering right now :no:, so i guess this will have to do for now...unfortunately i have limited knowledge about editing, and less knowledge about the players in the game. This bites cause I heard that there are some glaring diffences between the releases of the game in different regions, and it seems as though the N/A version got the "weak" version...but that talk is saved for another thread.

I am still interested in offering my assistance in building any OF editing though once i find out how to :cool:

Finally got this to work. Issue was that I originally had two memory cards in my system. In order to not have the maxdrive fry my primary, i removed it and put the secondary in its place. This caused a mismatch in the system configuration.

I knew it had to be something dumb..

How do you convert xport or max drive saves to .psv files for PS3? Has someone posted a faq on how to do this?

1- does this patch include correct team names / kits?
2- is there any way i can get a ppf file so i can patch to iso as i don't have a max drive so i can't use the option files, or is there any other suggestion to transfer from pc to ps2 mem card?
