Directions to use PS3 compatible file:

1. Place .psv file in folder "ROOT:\PS3\EXPORT\PSV\filename .psv"
2. On PS3 menu, go to Game then Memory Card Utility (PS/PS2)
3. Select your device and the Option File
4. Copy the Option File to an internal memory card
5. Set the internal memory card to Slot 1 and it will load at start-up of WE 2007

Nope, this is just an option file, made with ingame editor, the things you're saying can be done only as a patch.

Awesome, I love the boots in this optionfile. You pretty much were able to fit in a lot of brands and the most of the types.

I plan on working on updated appearances for the US national team. I would like to share these with you whenever you decide to do a V3.

Basically on whatever your media (ie usb mem, memorystic, etc), just create folders in a hierachy that looks like \PS3\EXPORT\PSV\. Then within that last psv folder, just dump that awesome .psv file that these great guys did.

Once you plug that media into ur ps3 and go under the game section and you should find that media listed there. Go in it and press the triangle to copy it over to ur ps3 and ur all set!

I just did that and can confirm that it's one sweet OF! Everything is nicely done, especailly the updated player stats... it made the gameplay a lot more fast-paced. The uniform, including matching shoes is awesome! If I was to nit-pick then I guess some player faces looks kinda pixelated/deformed than original but that's not noticable during gameplay.

Again, great job guys! I look forward to your next great release in the future!

Great OF guys, I've been playing all night. Brilliantly detailed, it surely can't get much better than this. A few tiny errors here and there, but nothing people won't be able to fix quite easily. I'd almost be disappointed if there was nothing left to tweak and adjust. As you have pointed out yourselves, no file is perfect, but this is pretty damn close. 7.50 am here now, so I'd better get some sleep. Anyway, thank you both very much for providing us with what is far and away the best OF to date.

Ive played this...and I must say,its great!!!great work lads!!!!but found minor errors, nothing we cant change ourselfs, but just to advise...
apart from the errors you just sayed, the chelsea kit doesnt look to perfect, I think its a more perfect version of it in editor...guys see that....and some apps of portuguese doesnt look to real too, but its just promenors!!more errors I find ill say to people here!(on the work on progresse section)

It does men!! it does work... since all you have to do in the mac is insert the usb memory drive and copy the .max file... then connect it to the ps2 and keep going with the instructions!! I did it myself on a mac :D

For those of you with a PS3, this option file does work and it is great. I downloaded the .psv file to my ipod in a E:/PS3/EXPORT/PSV/BASLUS-2146457324B374F5054.PSV

Do note, however, that you have to leave the filename as it is. I tried renaming the file and it gave me a corruption error when trying to copy to my virtual memory card.

Basically the process is:

1. Download the file to a removable drive of some sort (MP3 player, flash drive, external USB hard drive, iPod)

2. Plug removable device into PS3 and select the Memory Card Utility from the "game" tab of the XMB.

3. If you have not created a virtual PS2 memory card yet, do so. If you already have an option file that you've been using on an existing virtual memory card, you might want to create another memory card and save your original option file there.

4. When under the Memory Card Utility tab, find and select your removable device and push TRIANGLE, then select "copy".

5. Select the virtual PS2 memory card (slot 1) and press X.

6. Enjoy the hell out of this bad-ass OF.

I had been waiting for WE:PES2007 for a very long time and when it finally came out, I spent 2 days editing names of players, stadiums, teams, cups, leagues, etc., making tansfers and all that SON! Using only a keyboard and my PS3 controller. This OF blows anything I did totally out of the water. Even with the minor mistakes here and there, this OF is incredible. Thank you guys for creating a better experience both for single player and multiplayer modes.

I used yours between the time it came out and yesterday, when P&G released their V2. It was alright, but had some errors. Among other things, there is a player called Clarke in the Juventus squad. He is actually just Bartolucci with the name changed. Why? I remember this same mistake from Milanista's V2 as well, so I assume you have used his file as a platform for your own. Alternatively just stolen it. Also, both you and Milanista failed to create missing Celtic full-back Lee Naylor as far as I can remember. That's something of an embarassing omission in my opinion. So yes, I have tried yours. It wasn't as good as this one. Simple as that.

Sadly, no, the preset faces and hairstyles are different in both games, PES 6 has 350+ special hairstyles while WE 2007 has only 17!!, thats why PES 6 file looks a bit better than WE 2007 file, I converted all the faces for WE 2007 the best I could, I assume you have PES 6 for PC? if that's the case, the graphics in PC version are much better than the ones in PS2, that helps a lot too.

That's not possible with an OF, only patched games can add that feature.

By the way, compulsion emailed me today to inform he has a new version of its editor that now supports converting PES6 save to WE2007 saves and prevents the faces from screwing up.

Yeah man, that's the one you need, to avoid any damage to your memory card, never, never, delete game saves from it using the max drive. Follow the instructions included in the package it is really easy to use, all you need in your PC is an USB port, download the file for max drive to "my documents" then plug the max drive in the PC USB port, move the file to it, load the included CD in your ps2, plug the max drive in the ps2 USB port , using the max drive software, transfer file to memory card, done. Hope this helps.

Played my Master League with your OF over the weekend and the game play and attention to detail was awesome ! (My Mrs doesn't quite understand the attraction though)

An idea for any V3 ? Replace some of the lesser teams in the French and Dutch Leagues with teams from lesser European Leagues Africa, Asia and the Americas.

Ok, the second nike logo is a result of the conversion from the PES6 optionfile to the WE2007. What happened is the pategato just defaulted the jerseys back but the logo for the nike symbol on the shorts and shirt were not turned off. Pategato just needs to make the uniforms editable again and before he defaults them, to turn off all the logos.

For example you can remove an European team called Hearts (or something like this) and put the mexican team Chivas or any other from South America like Colo Colo, that will make the most global OF for a winning eleven, don't you think so? the point is to make an OF able to play either european leagues or american leagues like The copa Libertadores with teams like Sao Paolo, Estudiantes (from Argentina), Boca Juniors (from Argentina also), Colo Colo (from Chile) and mexican teams (like the ones that are competing right now in the tournament -America, Toluca). If you decide to do this.. I have this OF with the mexican league and some other south american team such as Colo Colo and I think that will be helpful... how does that sound to you? is it doable?

Well I have to say that this is the fastest, slickest OF that I have used for a while. I play using the Top Player setting and with some OF's that I have used the football is sluggish and to be honest boring. Just started a ML with this OF and my first game in charge of Man U was against Chelsea and the action was relentless. The speed of the game is fantastic, a little bit hectic sometimes due to the rather random way I play, but fantastic nonetheless. The game ended 1-0 to us and I went to bed a very happy man. Cheers guys for all the hard work, it is very much appreciated.

Is it that hard to create OF for other language versions of PES6? I would have changed it for another languages myself, but I don't know how to do it. I just wander why You don't decide to fulfill my requests and submit other versions as other OF creators do. Even a denial in a reply to my messages would be nice.

As soon as find an easy method to do it, I will, I dont want to reinstall my PES 6 PC over and over again every time I want to change the language. Thx.

Sorry about the n00b question, but I can't figure out how to use the BIN/CUE file methodology to transfer them from CD to MC. What do I need to burn onto the CD? The link that was provided before was about saving files, transerring them to NPO files and then creating a big bin/cue file before burning. I am not sure exactly what I need to do here. Any help would be greatly appreciated--I haven't played this series since winning eleven 6 and 7 and I never tried downloading option files before. thanks.

It is better to start ML from beginning because some players don't fit with new OF. You can continue play ML with
this OF, just try.

I have the team Colo Colo on a OF that i download in WEMEXICO... and i tried to transfers certains teams like colo colo, chivas, america, cruz azul to patetagato's OF but it didn't work since the teams were created in a position (of other leagues C) and you can't transfer them into another position, you can just transfer from the same position... for example: i have chivas in the position number 4 of other leagues C (on the wemexico OF) and on the pategato's OF the team that appears on the position 4 of other leagues C is Herta Berlin... I'm allowed to transfer the information (from memory card 2 to memory card1) of the teams from position to position... so, if i would like to have chivas in the pategato's OF i'd have to erase Herta Berlin... did I make myself clear? and that happens with several teams... I have colo colo team in a position where you have to replace Santos (which is also a good south american team) and I'd like to keep both teams... does anyone know what can I do here? please help me...

When you continue play ML with new OF maybe some players will be overwrite with different players.
Because every OF is not same.
You can't have two OF just one.

I don't know about roxio, I use nero.
Try burn image file with roxio.
You must try to insert cd-r or cd-rw in ps2 couple times if you don't succes first time.

I also would like some help doing this because I don't really know how the editor works, so I have to start experimenting with it, I want to add Independiente and Velez from pategato's version 1 and probably other teams as well in his OF and other OF's, but I haven't tried this yet because I'm waiting for the corrected OF. I can't start working on this until I get the corrected OF so I don't know how this works, any help is appreciated, please, thank you.

Also, pategato, is there a way to fix the bayern munich kit as I prefer the licensed version over the one you did, just because I think the licensed kits look very good, the problem I have is that when I default it it gets messed up just like the barcelona kit.

Delete your old OF and try again. Everything is normal to me.
Now I play with that OF.
