Directions to use PS3 compatible file:

1. Place .psv file in folder "ROOT:\PS3\EXPORT\PSV\filename .psv"
2. On PS3 menu, go to Game then Memory Card Utility (PS/PS2)
3. Select your device and the Option File
4. Copy the Option File to an internal memory card
5. Set the internal memory card to Slot 1 and it will load at start-up of WE 2007

The German file (other language-wise converted files might be too) is useless: Whoever made it screwed it up by forgetting to set PES points available (PES points = 0). In the PC editor the number of PES points isn't converted with the rest of the settings of an option file!

Additionally, I'm a little bit disappointed that many of my posted errors have not been recognised (such as choosing Dida as default GK for Milan; he has been in starting formation in last Serie A matches and CL-match against Celtic, also his contract has just been extended)

Nevertheless I want to thank both of you for continuing the work on the of.

Oh come on! In the original file (English) pategato and goalgerd intend to have everything unlocked in PES shop. Language files have everything locked and no PES points.
So we have to convert the file again in PC editor - no problem, i'm not lazy ^^ - which makes the already converted file quite useless.
As far as I know the language files where however converted not by p&g but an external person. And this person should have had enough time, mate. ;-)

Apparently you did'nt get the point. :-(
I do appreciate the work of p&g but it is a fact that there're still mistakes in the file (that's no problem, my intention is not to insult them because of this).
People who want these errors corrected would have a nice overview in an errors-thread and thus could save time by not having to do research. You got my point?
This measure would just be a help for users of that great option file who want to make it even more perfect (if you can say so^^).

well,maybe it corrupted all the memory card..if you use max drive, format your memory card!its the only way...in case you dont know how to do,in the menu that says if you wanna go find saves or you wanna open the max or open the memory card..on memory card press square button!

It's an amazing optionfile outright but its also a great optionfile to use if you want to add your favorite team that is not in the game or this optionfile. I confirm that this is not for Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007.

While the logos and team names are fixed, the character models are not. For example in Man Utd team, everyone except 1-2 have wierd face/head/etc.

I downloaded the PES 6 one.. may be that's why. Perhaps the WE option file for PC is not available?

Thierry, I have had that as well and had to format my memory card via the max drive (available option in the max drive menu). First try it a few times more. If that doesn't help, I am afraid that you will have to format the memory card.

To backup your files: you can put them on your computer for the time being and then put them back after the formating of the memory card.

You also should download the file again. I had the same thing happen to me. I formatted my memory card but the max drive on my PC told me that the file was corrupt. I downloaded it again and it worked. Good luck.

it doesn´t damage your Master Ligue ´cos the ML is another data independient from the Option File.

For all of yours that have problems with the Memory Cards I want to tell you something... format the Memory Card (usb) with FAT data, remember...FAT!.

With respect, it may look fine with the new PES face editor (???) but if you play the game the faces are still mismatched with the players. I downloaded your option file (excellent work by the way) a number of times and still have the same problem. I used PESFan Editor 6.03, which according to Compulsion's website should correctly convert PES files to Winning Eleven -- and still the same problem...Unless that is, I am doing something wrong, which I doubt having futzed around option files for way too long...

I own both PES6 and WE:PES2007 for the PS2. I am going to transfer a V2.5 BIN/CUE file to my memory card. I had originally planned to play on WE:PES2007, and therefore, get the BIN/CUE for that version, BUT I have seen how people claim that the faces are messed up and such (even though I'm not sure if it holds true for the PS2 version of the OF)...

My question is: taking into account the fact that I can play either PES6 or WE:PES2007, would you recommend me to play PES6 instead?

Well i have to say that WE 2007 is very different from PES 6 since the players seem to be playing better and the game is faster and more spetacular since they can dribble far more than PES 6 and that is something i noticed from the 1st time i played it since i have played extensively PES 6 (finish 10 seasons on TOP player master league).
So i would have to say play WE 2007.

Kind of funny since you are right it just so happened that OTHER faces got mixed up which i hadn't noticed it seems every time i reload it it picks at random which faces to mix up pretty weird. Now rolandinhio is bold and tostao is white :)))))

Guys, I played with that OF yesterday, the faces seem okay but I only checked the Japan national team. But still, how can I really make sure that the OF at the beginning of page 3 is really P&G's V 2.5??? Help!!!

I have the same faces problem on my PC WE 2007 with this OF, i have both copies PC PES6 and PC WE 2007, i tried to "fix" switching between OF games and there still the problem :(

You don't need to make a ROOT folder. That's just the term for the main folder of your storage device. It'll actually be called "E:" or "F:" or something like that, a letter and a colon. There, you make the rest of the folders.

Directions to use PS3 compatible file:

1. Place .psv file in folder "ROOT:\PS3\EXPORT\PSV\filename .psv"
2. On PS3 menu, go to Game then Memory Card Utility (PS/PS2)
3. Select your device and the Option File
4. Copy the Option File to an internal memory card
5. Set the internal memory card to Slot 1 and it will load at start-up of WE 2007

well if you have WE2007 for the pc you dont need either of them, just download the "PC WE 2007" file, but i believe ppl have reported that the faces are messed up in the PC version, so you might wait until pategato or goalgerd fix this:happy:

Well if he manages to find the work around i would be interested since option files are coming out only for PES 6 and i find WE 2007 better in gameplay since they have seemed to tweak it in terms of defense goalkeeping and skill of players (players will avoid tackles by jumping actively now).And if he can pull off a way of converting PES 6 files to WE 2007 it would be very interesting. Anyway there is an option to convert from WE 9 so i am wondering if their options files are more compatible, thats my two cents...

Ok. I've found a way to solve the problem of WE 2007 faces messed in PC Version but it's hard work.
In Edit Player go to every player that has his face wrong and in player appearence just press "square" which default's his appearence.
It solves 99.9% of the players. ;)

ok i dont know why, but pes6 for PC doesnt workfor me , it just cant read it, all other options files work (prescrazy etc) but this doesnt work for me..
Ive copied it into save/folder1 and named it KONAMI-WIN32PES6OPT, but when i load pes, it cant read it..

Why the pes-shop is completely unlocked? Now i have to play the Master League with all the classic players in other squads (what a shit) It's very unrealistic...

You can turn off classic players in the master league, when you start a new Master League you have to go through loads of menus etc, theres an option to turn it off or just use normal players, cant remember what it says though.

Using an editor, Like the PesFan Editor, you cant colored logos in the ingame editor, koonami screwed up :realmad:

I've downloaded your OF and didn't have a problem to put it in my memory card. I explore my memory card and see the file PES6 OPTION FILE. The problem is that the game does not recognize it and even when i go to options and try to load the file, it says that there is no option file in the memory card.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Also pategato I have noticed that when playing WE:PES2007 pc Version, I am getting a humming (noise) after a certain point in the game... Is this new to anyone?
I have checked all my sound on my computer and it stops once the game has exited out to windows.
