View Full Version : Fantasy League Option File
Myself and Scarface have been pondering on whether to create an OF for the FL! This will be of no effect to the FL itself, no changes will happen it is just an extra which would be fun and I know many others would like to play the FL in their game. So this is what will happen.
Scarface will put the squads together and tweak some stats for some of the FL players as we all know some are underrated/overrated.
I will tweak player appearances, logos, kits etc. Everything will be done ingame so no patching/patches are required.
It will work some thing like this...
Division 1 will replace Eredivisie
Division 2 will replace Other Leagues A
Division 3 will replace Other Leagues C
This is only the start, post comments in here, please post ideas! We want this to be an enjoyable OF So get posting ideas ;)
If you want a specific kit post the ingame kit formulae in here please, otherwise I'll make the kits as I feel looks right judging by what is in your team thread!!! ;)
Get chatting...
If I want my kit on there, how will you do on Eredivisie? That kits can´t be replaced. Or I´m wrong?
If you use kitserver you can or something along those lines.
You can change the licensed kits in a way, I'll tell you more when I know! But it is possible ;)

How many managers would be interested in using a Fantasy League option file for the PC version of PES6?
This would be time consuming, so i'd only be prepared to help do it if several managers would like a FL option file.
Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to use the option file, I don't have the PC version.
This would be released for the PS2 too! So TG dont worry ;) All will be made INGAME

I'm in the same boat as Top Gun. It's cool to have it on PS2 as well, but I'd still have to go out and buy a Max Drive, right? It's a good idea though so I won't rule out downloading it.
same here dont have it on pc and i have to share the ps2 with my bro and he will not want this instead of the current one but anyway its a good idea and if you have the pc version i assum it would be good

I don't think many would be able to use it. I can remember something similar coming up before, and very few managers had the PC version, and with the PES6 version we were going to use being a patched version, it could get complicated. Unless, a Max Drive can easily install a patched version onto the PS2 version, but I don't believe that to be the case?
I've got PES6 on PC so I would use it .
Im still up for making it James, even though it may only be a few wanting it! I think the few who would like it would be very pleased with the finishing product.
What do you reckon?
Max Drives cost £10 from Play.com. Lets not get mistaken by a patch, this is an Option File, no editing the game happens, all editing is done ingame!

I don't mind help doing it, but my version of PES6 is installed with the pategato/goalgerd patch. I can't do with playing with shoddy unofficial kits, incorrect player names, Merseyside Red and all that bollocks.
ye completely understand that dude! But I think you are getting mixed up between a patch and an option file. A patch is changing things to the game, such as the stadiums, music etc. An OF changes everything ingame ;) You have goalgerds and Pategato's OF which we can use for a base ;)

Oh ok, I thought it was a patch, as it's changed the names, shirts, boots, stadiums etc, but I guess that was all done by in-game editing, and using Graphic Studio, Kitserver etc.
I'll start putting the squads together tonight.
Division 1 will replace Eredivisie
Division 2 will replace Other Leagues A
Division 3 will replace Other Leagues C
Should we go ahead with that?
Yeh sure dude ;) I cant think of a better placement...
Have you got PESFan Editor? That would help you one hell of a lot ;)?

I don't, but could I just download it after? With this option file, I can't change team names. Is there anyway around that?
hmm? Could you pm me some screenshots on what you are doing? Im a bit lost... Lol

I'm registering players to Ado Den Hag (first team in Eredivisie) at the moment. Just getting all the correct squads together.
Scarface, if you have the PESFAN editor you can do all the transfering of players without opening the game. It is much quicker to do

Sounds good. I've downloaded and installed it. What's the best way to change a players squad?
You get a option to look at the squads of two clubs at a time. Pick the ones that you want to use and drag the player you want to tansfer into the other scroll down list
by going onto the "transfer" tab. drag and drop him into another squad ;) Any problems, pm me ;)

I'll have this done within the next couple of days. I apologize for the delay, but I haven't had enough time to do it recently. By tomorrow afternoon, i'll have plenty of spare time, so i'll work on it Wednesday night and hope to have it completed by sometime on Thursday.
What's happening with this?

If Wellzy still wants to go ahead with it, i'd be willing to help at the end of the transfer window. There's no point doing it at the moment, as there's likely to be several more transfers in the next 5 weeks.
True, true.
Did you get the other one finished?

No, I had some difficulties transferring players with the PESFan editor I was using, and then decided to leave it until the end of the season, before releasing one with all the new transfers.
Ok no problem.
Just wanted to see Rafa FC kick Racing Club Aviendo's arse that's all

Haha, did you not realise there's a ruling that every squad member for Racing Club Avenido and Real Verdadera have maxed out stats?
No worries, I'll just line up all my players in front of the goal so you can't get it past.
It's a new formation 11-0-0

If you're still up for this, Wellzy, i've received PES 2008 (PC version) in the post today, so once i've downloaded a good option file with correct kits, team names, badges etc, I can start working on it, before passing it on to you to modify the kits, badges, logos etc?
forgot completely about this :D! In all honestly, I have a lot of work on at the moment as its my final year at the ol' school.
Good job I can fit in the Fantasy League into my busy schedule haha.
