Sounds pretty awesome, although I don't have Photoshop. If anyone could PM me a link to a free download of said product, it'd be appreciated.

Considering Photoshop costs around £300, it maybe difficult to get it for free, unless of course you're referring to accidently stumbling across a download link. ;)

Great template Original mate, I'd rep you however it says I must spread it around first. Annoying really as I haven't repped anyone for about a month.

I shall be using this pronto, possibly in a friendly if possible.

Great idea. For those who dont have photoshop there is an alternative though. Install the PESFAN editor and just make your squad on a OF. You dont need the game to do this.

You can change your formy and it would look something like this

How do you do to put the names, move the circles and everything to then post your formation? Are you going to do all the formations Original? I´m a bit confused.

Original?
19-03-2007, 18:12
Nedy you download the .PSD file I linked to in the first post, open the file in Photoshop and you will see you have an edittable template. From there you can do everything you asked, if you need further help contact me on MSN.

Oh ok. Thanks for the help.

EDIT: I copied the image, for that reason I can´t do anything.

If anyone doesn't have Photoshop, you can make a simplified version on MS Paint. Just draw a green rectangle, the white lines, etc. Then if you want to change formation, you would rub out, or cut and paste, the players' names and reposition them. Same with the other info.

I might make a very basic template tonight at the earliest.

Can someone tell me how I can put the arrows and postion name? Thanks.

Dragonfly editting the formation each week in MS Paint would be quite time consuming, once you get to grips with the template it'll be a lot faster and take only five minutes to completely change your formation.

Dragonfly, did you get my PM?

Yeah. I got up to the stage where I downloaded the Photoshop torrent, but something called Sonic Record Now! needs a disk, so that means I can't use it.

when is 1.0 going to be ready?

Original?
20-03-2007, 17:11
Well I've yet to have any suggestions so until someone suggests something 1.0 is a long way off as so far I've only put patterns on the grass from how it was mown, and I'm considering putting in a blank layer with the correct blending options for people to paste their logo into as Wellzy has done as I thought that looked quite good.

Wellzy
20-03-2007, 17:58
heh, lol thanks Original?! When I see your psd on Photoshop iM amazed how long it would of took you to put it all in order etc. Your graphics of the pitch is fantastic, your a genius dude! Maybe we could find a decent font specifically for the FL? So we could use tht on the formation template or maybe have a personalised colour background, eg. I could have black instead of the blue you have chose, just to add that individuality to everyones! :) Oh and the other idea was a shirt with the player's number by the dot where it has the position on it!? Could ya do that Original? Need I ask lmao!

Great work dude, rep coming your way ;)

Original?
20-03-2007, 19:32
I can set it up so that you can have a choice of colours for the template, how does that sound? Changing all the fonts would require a substantial re-build but if you find a good enough font I may be enclined to do it.

The shirts will not happen as it will crowd the pitch too much.

Wellzy
20-03-2007, 20:10
Yeh cool! Sounds a gd idea ;) I'll look for a few fonts. Yes, Shirts probably would crowd the pitch. Cheers dude ;)

Update - v0.91 Available for Download

New 'Features'

- Graphical update; pitch now has designs for mowing, patches of mud in high wear areas, a choice of three template designs and players now have feet.

- Matchday can be included in the design.

- Team logo (180x220) can be pasted into the specified layer in order to personalise the template. (It would look better rotated 35 degrees clockwise. [To do this select the layer with your logo, go to Edit>Transform>Rotate and then rotate until satisfied.])
