View Full Version : Burnout Dominator
Why oh why have they taken out the Crash event?

I'm slightly appalled there is no online PS2 support either.
I used to have an Xbox, which had online support, but have really only just gone back to the PS2.
Why take a game that in renound for something, and completely remove that feature?

I must admit; i never really played the crash mode much; was a laugh for a few goes, but after that got boring imho.
At times this game seems a little too easy.
I've noticed there's only 88 events too, when they had like 90 for each 3 continents they used in Burnout Takedown?
Oh, and having Avril Lavigne is bad enough. Having Spanish, Mandarin and Japanese versions too takes the piss.
but the game was great though.
WAS great? It's been out just over two days now?
i like it actually...thought this is the 1st burnout ive ever played...but yeah...avril in the mix is just weird...especially havin differet versions of her song...love the Le Disko track though!
This game is getting old. It's pretty much the same, no wait, it's all the same.
Fave songs from the game:
Hot Hot Heat - Give Up
B'z - Friction
Maxeen - Block Out the World
Wired All Wrong - Lost Angeles
NERD - Rockstar
Dead IDentities - No Way Out
Got Burnout Revenge on it's way in the post too :)

No point in Burnout Revenge if you got Dominator...
I'd cancel the order.
edit: Ignore what I said. They took out the damn traffic checking mode in Dominator. You can't slam into normal cars without getting crashed!
Dominator seems to be faster and cooler, but its a shame they took out the ability to slam into normal cars without getting crashed.
I just checked out the IGN review and they said that Dominator is basically a filler for all of the impatient people who can't wait for Burnout 5 on the PS3 and Xbox 360, thus justifying (if not completely) the lack of a crash mode.
