Who else could we interview for the first edition but our new glorious leader

Theo

Rafalutionary: "When you found out you were going to be d'G manager, how did you feel ?"

Theo: "Hmm, that's tricky"

"Well I suppose I felt honored that Duds would choose me, and have faith in me."

Rafalutionary: "If you weren't Manager of d'G then who would you like to manage?"

Theo: "Well, I'd say the team I'd most likely go to would be the DT Sharks, I have a lot of respect for those lads"

Rafalutionary: "Where do you see the side finishing this season? What for you would be acceptable?"

Theo: "Well I can see us finishing top of the pack, but I know that we've performed our hardest if me make the top two."

Rafalutionary: "Are you happy with the start we have made?"

Theo: "Well, the game against LCN was a big let down, I was very disappointed then. We have got a lot better since then, and I am pleased with how we're performing now"

Rafalutionary: "Which player outside of our squad do you covert most?"

Theo: "Well, I think Sousa is a great player and I'd love to have in the squad. I'm not sure he'd like having to be a sub though." ;)

Rafalutionary: "Which Manager in the DTL do you have the most time for ?"

Theo: Well I get on very well with Bill and Sion, and they have had a lot of patience with me, so them.

Rafalutionary: "What is the single best thing about managing the d'G?"

Theo: The feeling of watching the fans, home or away, and knowing that they are behind you and you've done your very best to send them home happy.

Rafalutionary: Cheers for your time Gaffer

Theo: No Problem.

Honours even at Stomping Ground

d'Galacticos can feel rightly happy with their hard earned point against the HeadHunters away from home but also equally aggrieved that they did not leave with all 3 points.

Last years Champions were lucky not to concede early on.

15 minutes: some tricky wing play from Maget saw him beat his man convincingly and put a teasing cross into the Area, which although just over the head of Fluke, fell invintingly at the feet of this years top scorer Laughing Man only for him to blast wide of a happless Greenegg.

18 mins: The HeadHunters then showed a small glimpse of why they are Champions. Against the run of play their Captain, NikE was put through on goal by a delightful pass from Singh (who had capatalised on a Mick03 mistake) and NikE pulled a fantastic reflex save low down to the left out of the on-rushing Tinkerbell. The ball fell right back into his path and he found the back of the net with a diving header. 1-0 HH.

20 Mins: Visibly encouraged by the Goal, the HH began to press forward in numbers and looked to redress the balance of play but although seeing a lot of the ball they never really threatened and only really looked dangerous thriving on mistakes as they had for the first goal.

27 Mins: A poor Cartman cross field pass found the head of DiscoPants who nodded it down for Singh. Singh found himself a good 2-3 yards ahead of Mick03 but the d'G man closed the gap and made an excellent tackle to relieve the danger.

39 Mins: Dundon's heads a ball back from Midfield to Mick03 who heads the ball forward to Maget. Maget and Fluke combine well and Fluke passes the ball into Laughing Man who takes a quick first touch and hits a shot low and hard but it is easily saved by Greenegg.

Half Time: Despite the lack of clear cut chances the quality is there for all to see. Defences on top at the break and the only difference between the sides is that HH have taken their one clean chance where d'G should have done better with theirs.

50 mins: a simple goal kick to the feet of Mick03, who passes to Haribo, outwide to noisenik, up to MasterKebiotic, inside to Dundons, back to Fluke88, beats his man and then plays it outside to Maget turns away from two and goes outwide to Cartman who has charged from his RB position and delivers a front post cross for LM. GOOOOOAL!!!! What a Goal. Surely a contender for goal of the Season. 9 of the d'G outfield players touched the ball without a single tackle on them and the diving header from LM put the finishing touchs to an incredible team goal. A prime example of the d'G's at their brilliant best.

56 Mins: With the bit really between their teeth MasterK robs the ball from Discopants and plays it cooly back to Mick03. He plays it forward to Rafalutionary who plays it wide to Noisenik. Noisenik beats Juce and plays the ball inside to Dundons. Dundons takes a touch cruyff turns away from his man and brings Fluke into the play, who instantly turns and gives the ball to Maget. Maget finds himself with all the time and space in the world but drags his shot across goal. Some great Football on show here.

59 Mins: From the resulting kick off HH are right back under the Kosh. MasterK again the start of it all but this time beating his man to a header in his own half. His long header finds Dundons who lays it off to LM who goes back outwide to MasterK. MasterK uses his pace to get to the byline, fools his man and cuts back inside chipping the ball delicately on to LM who flicks on perfectly for the arriving Maget who about 6 yards out thunders the ball over the bar! (How did he miss?)

75 Min: With every chance up to this point being a d'G one and them totally dominating the play they still had to watch out for pacey counter attacks. One such attack came when BlueScouse cleverly stepped away from a header, flicked the ball up and headed it to Juce. Juce brought it down and knocked it back to Krook who saw DiscoPants unmarked and in space. DiscoPants found the pacey Singh who from inside took the ball towards the ball in the direction of the corner flag only to turn inside and play a delightful chipped ball for Krook. Were it not for the alertness of Mick03 who duly cleared the ball into touch he would have been one on one from only a few yards out.

77 Mins: MasterK receives a standing ovation from the travelling fans and is replaced by the new man Hazman. Manutd4eva (stupid name) comes on for Disco Pants.

81 Mins: Romancer7 on for Leedsno1fan. The player Manager Theo decides it is time to go all out for the win and takes the place of Rafalutionary who also receives a standing ovation from the travelling support.

86 Mins: Some clever work from Theo on the wing finds Dundons in the opposition box Dundons turns and puts in a quick cross only for LM to miss with the overhead effort. The ball is headed out to Hazman whose long range effort is comfortably saved by Greenegg.

89 Mins: Nickpring on for Krook. Phatmann on for Cartman who is cheered as he leaves the pitch by the d'G faithful. He more than did his part today with that fantastic cross for the goal.

Full Time: An entertaining hard fought game and both sides will be glad of the point but for different reasons. This was a game that d'G should and had more than enough chances to win but a great performance that has to be built on.

Playboy Man of the Match: MasterKebiotic. He was at the heart of everything good in this game. Worked hard tracking back and looked dangerous going forward. Had he scored this would have been the perfect performance.

Rafalutionary: So Mike, can I call you Mike or do you prefer Michael or what?

MJ: Mike is fine. What shall I call you?

Rafalutionary: Call me Rafa if you like.

MJ: Okay Rafa it is.

Rafalutionary: So mike, let me first start by saying it is a privellege to have a Sporting Legend like yourself here.

MJ: Thank you very much, I've seen a few of your games, you arn't so bad yourself. You play a bit of Basketball ?

Rafalutionary: I used to.

MJ: Maybe we could shoot some hoops after the Interview?

Rafalutionary: Sure. *smiles* It's on. So can I ask how you became a fan of the d'G?

MJ: Well I was watching ESPN and I saw a short on this Soccer team I hadn't seen before. I liked what I saw so I checked up on you Guys and now I try not to miss a game.

Rafalutionary: Cool. So who is your favourite player?

MJ: Good question. I'd have to say Dundons. He reminds me a lot of myself, he's got the Skills to put the points on the board but he also has the heart of a Winner, I like that.

Rafalutionary: Yeah he used to be our Captain but he stood down for personal reasons.

MJ: Yeah I saw that. I think you have to do what is right for yourself so you can be at your best for the Team.

Rafalutionary: So being a d'G you don't like the Headhunters naturally?

MJ: *laughs* they arn't my favourite team no but I got respect for them. I think we should have beat them last time out but hey sometimes you don't always get what you deserve. I can accept failure but I can't expect not trying, this is another reason I am a d'G fan. They never give less than 100%

I play to win, whether during practice or a real game. And I will not let anything get in the way of me and my competitive enthusiasm to win. I imagine d'G to be the same.

Rafalutionary: Very kind of you to say so and you are right. We're currently 4th and have a Mountain to climb, do you think we can do it?

MJ: I've always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come. If you want it enough you will get there. I've failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed. Never be afraid to fail.

Rafalutionary: Can you believe the amount of chances we wasted in our last game?

MJ: I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. It happens Man, you just gotta pick yourself up and get on with the next shot.

Rafalutionary: Do you think there is a massive difference between "Soccer" and Basketball?

MJ: No, not really. Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.

Rafalutionary: Finally, What is your top tip for any kids wanting to be like Mike?

MJ: Just play. Have fun. Enjoy the game.

Rafalutionary: It has been an honour.

MJ: Alright. Now lets see what you got on the Court.

Really good reading mate. Nice job.;)

Both my Laptop and PC are fucked atm and the only way I can get online is via a Linux live boot CD, so all I can do with the Laptop is surf and look at pages until the HDD comes next week the PC is another issue altogether. Once I'm back up and running I'll do up a Mag and insert all this info if you like.
