What's new in V3 then?

* Some new youngsters added from The Devils thread on PESGaming. Lots of potential stars for your ML!
* Lots of new players added such as new players transferred in for the January transfer window!
* Lots of new kits have been added! England now have their new kits, Newcastle and Everton are in their new premiership kits, which they now are playing their final games in. This includes the new premiership numbering!
* Some new better quality badges including Aston Villa's brand new badge which has only just been announced!
* New official team names! All the team names are now 100% official and to UEFA standards.
* New stadium names, thanks to a great idea by Joeysomething. All stadiums now have their proper name followed by where they are. e.g. Old Trafford, Manchester'. This gives an official UEFA look and feel to the game.
* Teams have been rearranged! FC Bayern Munich are now in the Bundesliga and CSKA are in the 'Other Teams A' section. Gone are the Brazilian and Argentinian teams that didn't fit in to the game, and now 'Other Leagues B' is full of new UEFA Champions League teams!
* Line-ups have been corrected for pretty much every club! They are now like the formations and teams sent out today, and not like ones from the start of the season in 2006!
* National team roosters have been updated! No more Zidane playing for France!
* New players in the classic teams!
* PLF, Del Perio, Red and Bagrummel stats have been added to the game, for much more realistic and better gameplay!
* All the Bundesliga has been updated! Yes, nearly every face is unique and lifelike now!
* New logos have been added to the file!

And much more! This file has been worked on from February till May! Try it and experience how PES6 should be played!

What will be in V4?

* Boots assigned
* Summer transfers done, and new players added.
* All the kits for the new season will be added, even licensed teams!
* Any new errors found will be fixed
* Promoted teams for all leagues added in place of the relegated teams. Play the Premiership with the likes of Sunderland and Birmingham!

How to transfer the OF onto you Memory Card/Hard Drive:

Using PS2 Max Drive...
1. Download the file
2. Plug the max drive in to the PC
3. Right click on Option File>send to Max Drive,
4. Plug max drive into USB port on PS2
5. Load up Max Drive software for PS2
6. Uncrush to memory card

Using PS2 X-Port...
1. Import the .xps file into your X-Port database using the X-Port software
2. Select and choose the 'Restore' option to transfer the option file onto your memory card.

Using PC...
1. Download the option file
2. Put the OF in C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 6\save\folder1
3. Make sure it's called KONAMI-WIN32PES6OPT

Note: If you already have an existing option file on your memory card or hard drive, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it. If your current file is one you might want to go back to then you will want to back the file up first, before transferring this Option File.

If you follow these instructions, you should have no problems. :)

Errors

These are some errors in my OF. You can easily correct them yourself. :)

* Button Configuration is wrong. You need to switch the http://images.pesfan.com/smilies/square1.gif and the http://images.pesfan.com/smilies/circle1.gif buttons round for both attack and defence. :)

* Players that names begin with 'Van', 'Van Der', 'De', 'De La' are normally in lowercase i.e. van der Vaart, de la Red. This does not apply to Belgian players fro some reason. Their language and punctuation seems to stay capatilized i.e. Van Der Heyden, Van Damme.

* De Fauw (Roda JC) nationality is Netherlands and needs to be changed to Belgian

* De Rossa (Reggina Calcio) has been transferred to Genoa, so in-game will be a free agent

* De Vesse (FC Messina Peloro) is spelt De Vezze

* Rachmane Barry (FC Lorient) is spelt Rahmane Barry

* van der Broek (NAC Breda) is van den Broek

* M. G. Pedersen *Blackburn Rovers) change shirt name to GAMST

PESCRAZY ULTIMATE OPTION FILE v3 ERRORS IVE FOUND

I've decided to put the errors/mistakes into one post if that's ok with PESCrazy?

I have trawled through every player name (not in-depth yet) and tried spotting mistakes which I will post here.

This first one is only MY preference and isn't really a mistake or error.

Thats it so far, but if you do decide to follow my first step of name changing, remember to check the shirt names as well, as van Bronckhorst will need to be changed back to GIO

Great job man,but I think you made some clubs to weak,for example(Arsenal,Liverpool,Sevi lla,Real Madrid...),I mean when you look better Arsenal isn't that weak,and Chelsea is the far most best in Premiership,but in the real life Manchester and Liverpool are better...

Using PC...
1. Download the option file
2. Put the OF in C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 6\save\folder1
3. Make sure it's called KONAMI-WIN32PES6OPT

Note: If you already have an existing option file on your memory card or hard drive, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it.
If your current file is one you might want to go back to then you will want to back the file up first, before transferring this Option File.

Has anyone got the PS2 version to work? I'm trying to convert it to PS3 format but I keep getting an error when trying to transfer the file from max drive to memory card. It says something like "Error reading PES6 Option File."

you option files are absoultely fantastic. im a long time lurker, first time poster. this V3 is awesome, I fixed all the naming errors you pointed out, and now the only thing that I see is wrong is Recoba! hes completely messed up lol

maybe you can fix him, along with all the other 5-6 errors you found, and release V3.1 ? Your OF is practically perfect dude, it just needs a few corrections.

I'm new to these boards and firstly I would like to congratulate you Pescrazy for making an exceptional option file. It must have taken many hours of blood, sweat and tears.

The one minor complaint I have is to the England team numbers. Some of them are wrong e.g. Lampard = 23, Crouch = 11 etc. I have already corrected these all myself but I just wanted to notify any other users that might not have noticed.

Your V3 is awesome! Excellent work. Recoba is totally messed up but i took the stats from V2 and created him. The only thing i couldn´t change was his nationality. Recoba from Spain...very funny :) Do you have any clue how to change that?

How do I work the "bin/cue" one? Ive downloaded it and it was in a Zip folder I put in a CD-R and saved it to it but when I put it in my PS2 it says "please insert a PS2 disc"

Im probably doing it wrong so can someone tell me how to do it?

Ok, After I got my bin file, the nero image burning process recognizes cue filez only SO I CAN'T burn the damn bin on ma CD.

One tells me burn the cue, others tell me burn bin, another will tell me dont use nero and a fourth tells me to use Alcohol 120 ????????????

i have a problem im running WE2007 on PC i installed this option file properly i see the new teams and everything but.. the player faces are all messed up is this part of the file or am i having some kind of error ... Yes unfortunatly it is like that when you convert a PES6 FILE into a WEPES2007 one, unless you have the game to start with to correct the faces, us europe file makers can't correct the faces......

Was about to download this option file until I read this.. to what extent has this been done? Only newly created players or all players?

I ask as I want an option file with all the kits, boots, accessories, names, etc. etc. etc. but leaves stats untouched the way Konami intended.

pescrazy mate, I have a quick suggestion for you in V4. Please, do not unlock everything in the Pes Shop. Just set the PES to 99999, and let people choose what they want. Some people dont like having classic teams unlocked. Everytime I play a cup with national teams now, like a Euro cup or a Copa America, I cant hit Circle for random selection, or chances are it will add classic teams. Please, I beg you do not unlock things in the PES shop. I hate having to choose my teams manually, its such a waste of time.

I am playing the game on my PS3, I have only managed to get one option file so far (Titch's) I downloaded as a .rar file and converted back to the .pvs and uploaded it on my PS3 with a usb stick. Does anyone have any other option files such as this one in .pvs /PS3 compatible format??

I think you should add Pachuca the mexican side. They've won pretty much everything to win in North America. A real quality side. Also will you have the american version for V4?

I have an idea. to make a team that no one has in any option file.
Because i'm from Cyprus what do you think of making a Cypriot team( i prefer AEL Limassol FC cause a new AEL is making this season and is one of most famous teams in Cyprus).

That's my V2, which has no face bug. The only problem is with some of the Bundesliga players - the rest is fine.

They won their domestic league championship, won the Copa Sudamericana, won the North American Superliga, and also won the CONCACAF Champions Cup.

I think your OF’s are the best out there and I am really disappointed that you wont be creating a OF for PES2008 (you don’t need GCSE's, just do one anyway, lol). Any who when will your v3.5 or v4 OF be available (for PS2) and if you don't create an OF for PES2008 whose OF’s would you recommend?

Will this option file work/compatible with pes2007 for ps2? I live in the US so I have to get the pes2007 american version instead of simply pes6. I just ordered a max drive so I just wanted to know.
