HeadHunters F.C Manager Mark Sullivan calls for one last push

HeadHunters F.C know that 3 points against MVB Arkestra this week will secure them promotion and manager Mark Sullivan is asking his team to dig deep and give out their best performance in weeks.

The manager had this to say "In recent week our form hasn't been too great. We we're in a good position with a lead at the top of the table but that lead has been cut. We are now level on points with Real Verdadera and Have Arkestra and FC Cali close behind us. A draw could possibly mean promotion but that depends on other results going our way and we dont want to rely on those. Its a must win game and my boys know that. ANything less then 100% this week will not suffice.

Division 3 Play-off For Final Promotion Spot

Thats right after Cali's 3-1 win against Captain Cabinet and Sully's 2-2 draw with Dragonfly the final D3 promotion spot will be decided in a play-off

Headunters manager Mark Sullivan had this to say "Unfortunately we were not good enough to get the win against Dragonfly. He used good taactics and was brave with his decisions I wish him all the best for next season. Us not beating Dragonfly means that we have to play against FC Cali in a play-off for the final space. And like any other manager I'm not too pleased about it as it has been a grueling season and my boys need a break. But I'm looking forward to this game I can see more goals coming from both teams then it did in our previous encounter.

Mark Sullivan Resigns From HeadHunters F.C

After a disapointing end to the season which saw HeadHunters miss out on promotion via a penalty shootout, manager Mark Sullivan has decided it was time to part ways with the club.

He had this to say "I've had a great time managing this club but after a disapointing end to the season I feel that it's time for me to leave. I put my all in this season and it purely wasn't good enough.

There are other reasons for why I am leaving but I dont want to discuss those now as I feel it is not the right time to do so. Im looking forward to a nice long break from managing and I shall look into my future when the time is right."

Our sources believe that player power was one of the main factors in Sullivan's exit. His refusal to allow Barzagli and Iaquinta to join bigger clubs caused major problems behind the scene and both players made clear that they would not work under Sullivan any time soon.
