NYRB Questions:
Best CB partnership?
Yes, but it still looks a little shakey.

Pires or Rothen on the left?
Rothen as you can't play him in the centre, though you could perhaps play Rivera.

Best CM pairing?
Yes.

Best Forward Pairing?
Miccoli behind anyone of your out and out strikers as they're all pretty similar in level.

Weakness?
Your defence is average, but I can see many D3 teams penetrating it, and it won't stand up in the cup. Your midfield is probably the strongest area, so I'd focus more on improving your defence and firepower up front. You've been given a difficult task, but I can see you struggling if that is your first team.

Dragonfly Questions:

- This is my more defensive-minded team for harder matches, what do you think of it?

Looking solid, yet still has a bit of a creative spark down the flanks.

- More specifically, how's O'Shea at RB? Is Degen better?

Neither fill me with great confidence sorry.

- Gudjohnsen or Pauleta as a lone striker?
Pauleta, as a lone striker, he has proved many times he's an effective lone striker, Gudjohnsen is better in a front two for me.

Ill make an exception on this game because your playing me. Thanks for the post.

- This is my more defensive-minded team for harder matches, what do you think of it?
I like the formation because you have a great midfield, but you do lack a lot in attack.
- More specifically, how's O'Shea at RB? Is Degen better?
I dont know much about Degen, but O'shea is utility player and is capable of playing RB
- Gudjohnsen or Pauleta as a lone striker?
Pauleta

NY:

Best CB partnership?
- Probably.

Pires or Rothen on the left?
- Pires is the better player, but then you'd lose out in centre midfield.

Best CM pairing?
- Yeah.

Best Forward Pairing?
- Which Da Silva is he, the Croatian one or the Basel player? Anyway, I'm not too familiar with two you have at the moment, so I guess Miccoli and Mido, the old big-little partnership.

Weakness?
- It must have been hard to get player with joining so late, but you've got a decent team I guess. You have a slow midfield, except Barnetta, and no great strikers.

Questions:
Best CB partnership? You're deploying it.
Pires or Rothen on the left? Pires but not too sure
Best CM pairing? Motta and someone else, not pires.
Best Forward Pairing? I'd get Mido in there
Weakness? Depth, you've gotta add depth if you're gonna compete, i don't know the positions of most of your bench players.

Questions:

- This is my more defensive-minded team for harder matches, what do you think of it? I'm pissed you have nolan. Good line up tho.

- More specifically, how's O'Shea at RB? Is Degen better? I like O'Shea, he's a gamer and RB is his best position imo.

- Gudjohnsen or Pauleta as a lone striker?
I really like the big icelandic dude, he's very versatile although pauleta can score in bunches.

Best CB partnership?
Yeah, I'd say so.

Pires or Rothen on the left?
I'm a huge Pires fan, so keep Rothen on the bench.

Best CM pairing?
What Preki said.

Best Forward Pairing?
The only guy I've seen a decent amount of is Mido, so I'd pop him in there. I'm really not sure who should partner him.

Weakness?
Again, what Preki said. From the little I know, you seem to have an effective set of forwards, but the defence in particular could do with reinforcing.

- This is my more defensive-minded team for harder matches, what do you think of it?
Like it. Well set out, combative midfield with good outlets in the wide areas. Should be hard to break down.

- More specifically, how's O'Shea at RB? Is Degen better?
I think O'Shea is average at best. I guess he's more recognisable than Degen though, so probably the Irish fella.

- Gudjohnsen or Pauleta as a lone striker?
Pauleta. Gudjohnsen is fantastic in a deep lying role, but alone at the top he'll be ineffective. Judging by Portugal's performances in the last World Cup, I'd say Pauleta isn't so great alone either, but he'd be much better than Gudjohnsen.
