Is it a strong enough second string team for D3?

Is it nicely balanced, or would another formation suit?

Do any of you even know Gyorgy Garics? Which players do you not know?

 That's your team all over.

I'll do a proper analysis tomorrow. ;)

- Formation?
The formation is fine. You can't go wrong with 4-3-3.

- Backline?
Your back line is ok. I haven't seen a lot of Da Costa, but Distin is pretty solid and quick. I like your full backs, they'd do a job in D2.

- Attack?
I like your attack a lot. With both Mutu and Farfan in good form, Liedson will get a lot of goals with them supporting him. Plus the trickery of Nasri and accurate passing of Maresca will be a great asset to the formation.

- What do you think of the XI? Is it my best possible eleven?
I think it is your best 11.

- Areas of improvement?
Maybe a better CB than Mellberg, would be better to have for the squad rotation. Apart from that, everything seems fine.

Is it a strong enough second string team for D3?
That is perfect for a second string in D3. With Gamberini, Brocchi, Di Michele and Palladino there, you still have a lot of quality in it.

Is it nicely balanced, or would another formation suit?
The balance is fine. Everyone is in their favourite position, so it won't cause confusion.

Do any of you even know Gyorgy Garics? Which players do you not know?
Apart from Gyorgy Garics, I've known of everyone else and have seen most played.

Is it a strong enough second string team for D3?

Oh yes, particularly the midfield. Spinesi is going to be very happy.

Is it nicely balanced, or would another formation suit?

Formation works pretty much perfectly.

People won't yet but they should do this coming season (on Five ;)). However I'm going to stick my neck out and say you might be better off finding someone else.

Is it a strong enough second string team for D3?
I think it would make a good D2 team as well.

Is it nicely balanced, or would another formation suit?
Nicely balanced.

I didn't know Siviglia, I had heard of Garics despite not seeing him as I rarely saw the Serie B outside some Eurosport 2 games.

- Formation? Fine, suits the players fine.
- Backline? See last question.
- Attack? Excellent.
- What do you think of the XI? Is it my best possible eleven? See below.
- Areas of improvement? If anything maybe put someone in the place of Vandenborre, he's more of a midfielder, well that's where he plays best. I think though with his qualities he should be in no doubt.
