Probably not as you don't have any other really good centre mids.

Yes, Mista and Makaay would be a good combo.

Probably your best attacking midfielder.

- Maybe Luisao or Huth instead of Juanito, but I'm not sure of Juanito's quality.

- 3 CMs is fine. Dudu is good, but Luccin might be better.

- I think it's fine as it is, but try Kalou (I assume it B. not S.) instead of Beasly.

- That's fine, but he looks too far ahead of the two DMs.

- I'm not sure if RW is best-suited for Luis Garcia.

- I like it. It will be hard to attack against it down the middle, but easier down the flanks. Shorey and Arbeloa like to make forwad runs, and they're not bad at crossing, especially Shorey.

2. My strongest striker combo?
- Again, I would drop Pizzini for Chevanton. If you don't want him, you know I do. :rolleyes:

3. How could it be improved?
- Have wingers. Govou on the right and Kewell on the left. Bodmer and Diop in the center.

Not necessarily, Makaay is still a class poacher and with good supply he's bound to score enough. Plus now your wingers will keep the opponents backs more at bay.

I could play a diamon midfield, though Luis Garcia is a striker and probably wouldnt fill in at right mid.

The formation you have chosen looks like it will work well with your first choice players. Though i think you should try to adjust it so Govou and maybe Kewell could fit in as wingers.

I think Pazzini would be your best striker, though i'm not sure what Alves is like, so i would say partner Pazzini with Chevanton who is quite a decent player.

Looks fine. Agree with Dragon in the sense of replacing Luccin with Dudu though.

I think that one is fine. Makaay can score goals, and with Luis Garcia and Damarcus Beasley out on the wings, your team looks like it won't have trouble scoring.

Yes. Nakamura is a quality Player and he should stay in the Attacking Midfield position. Also, that is his strongest place to play, as you obviously already know.

1. Is my formation good?
It's pretty standard, with the diamond midfield, though I don't think you have the quality to play so much through the middle of teams, you'd need width.

2. My strongest striker combo?
Alves has scored buckets of goals but not in the strongest of leagues, and Pazzini is yet to really shine at the high levels, so you best hope he really takes his chance this season with Toni out the way. You best also hope he doesn't continue in the vein of his U-21 performance the other night for the rest of the tournament. That said I think it's probably the best pairing you have.

3. How could it be improved?
A bit of width, as I say I don't think you have the quality to break down teams through the middle as you would most likely have to with this formation, unless Arbeloa and Shorey are to bomb forward all game leaving gaps at the back. Govou and Kewell would probably be your best chance at more width.

They are decent for this division I think, and if squad rotation comes in those are three handy CBs.

Yes. You have good strikers in your team, use them as much as you can.
