Djungarden replaced Rapid Wien, and Rosenborg replace cska moscow, in Other League B;

To fix Manchester United emblem kit in game:
Menu-> Edit-> Edit team-> Man Utd-> Strip-> Chest logo-> On/Off: Then change "Logo 2" to Off, and change "Emblem" to ON :ok: It's easy!

Difference between v0.9 - v0.93:
v0.93 contains:
-Some players created;
-No duplicate players;
-Corrected starting 11’s for all English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Scottish club teams (based on Pes6 Milanista's And Mike's Option File v3.8);

Option File Transfering Tutorials

How to transfer the OF onto you Memory Card/Hard Drive:

Using Xbox Max Drive...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Make an archive (zip file) of the folder called UDATA
3. Drag this newly created zip file onto your maxdrive using the software.
4. Connect your maxdrive into one of your Xbox controller ports and load up PES5.
5. On the PES5 menu screen, go to Options > PES Data Control > Copy Saved Data. Then select the ‘Change’ option, and select the Datel Max Drive from the list.
6. Select the PES5 Option file present on the max drive, and then choose a slot on your hard drive to save the option file.
7. Once you have saved the file to your xbox hard drive/memory card, return to the main game menu and let play begin!

Using PS2 Max Drive...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Select and drag the .max file onto the max drive software.

Using PS2 X-Port...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Import the .xps file into your X-Port database using the X-Port software
3. Select and choose the 'Restore' option to transfer the option file onto your memory card.

Using PC...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Copy the file entitled KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT and paste it into the folder My Documents > KONAMI > Pro Evolution Soccer 5 > Save > Folder 1

As highlighted in bold, the save folder above is located in My Documents and NOT the Konami folder in Program Files.

The file MUST be entitled KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT for it to work, so do not change the name of the file.

Note: If you already have an existing option file on your memory card or hard drive, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it. If your current file is one you might want to go back to then you will want to back the file up first, before transferring this Option File.

To unzip a file you will need to download WinRar or Winzip if you haven't got one of these already.

If you follow these instructions, you should have no problems.

How to transfer the OF onto your Xbox 360:

With just the XSATA (http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/produ...l=1&ProdID=403) attached between my 360 and my PC, I used the Xplorer360 software on my PC which allows you to view the contents of your 360 harddrive and I....

Selected "Drive" > "Open" > "Harddrive or Memcard...." from the Topbar menu

Went to drive "partition 3"

Drilled down the folders into "Compatibility/Xbox1/UDATA/4b4e0030/" ("4b4e0030" is the 360 folder name for PES5)

Deleted the folder "5252897584A1" ("5252897584A1" being the 360 and Xbox folder name for the Option File I think)

Replaced it with the "5252897584A1" folder of my desired Option File ("5252897584A1" folder contained only a "saveimage.xbx", "SaveMeta.xbx" and .xsv file)

....then switched on my 360 to at last have this wonderful Option File working!!!!

I don't know any tool to convert pes6 OF to pes5 OF (if you found please tell me, it will be so more easy for me :)). In my OF (watson's OF is the base) but I always import diferent players from many others OF's, but few players unfortunate I don't found, and some players I created based on stats from pes6. Also, I always making the transfers. Now I working on fews transfers (that I miss), and to concert shirt numbers, among others things.

I notice that the uniforms are all out of place though. If you check Inter Milan for instance, the uniform is crazy and almost looks as if its glitched somehow. Also, Juventus seem to have the colors and basic uniform of Inter. Arsenal is weird too as well and Real Madrid. The o2 on Arsenal is zoomed in and on Real Madrid you cannot remove the Siemens and still allow the Benq to remain on the front of the shirt.

Please let me know if this is something you are working on or I can just transfer all players from your file to my Watson file and keep Watson's uniforms.

I converted your file from pes5 to xbox (we9) using pesfan editor 5 and it converted fine, but as I already explained, the unforms are all messed up. Please let me know if you have an idea how to fix this ortherwise I can do it manually which can take a while as you probably know

To play with right kits you need to use folder UNI (kitserver), or change kits of de game manually, or what you said. (I'll try find another way, more simple, to do it). Sorry about that.

I went through the file yesterday and transferred all players and then updated the new teams to match your option file. This way I kept all my old uniforms from a previous option file of Watson.

Now all I have to do it unlock about 5 teams uniforms and then manually create their uniforms using the in game editor.

If you can think of a better way to get this done, let me know

I had trouble trying to add all of the emblems from J708's file to my own file and had trouble over writing official kits, I know you should place an unofficial kit over the top to unlock it, but like I said I still had trouble with the emblems. So I gave up. :(

I'm using an option file by Watson, which I've been updating since his last. I've done most of the new kits as best I can. (Although some of away GK kits will need updating in due course.)

And I've done a lot of the Premiership transfers. (Although I need to move Dyer back to Newcastle from West Ham, I jumped the gun on that one!) But I'm waiting for the transfer window to close on Aug 31st before I finish doing the rest of the teams.

Plus theres a few "nice" (IMHO anyway!) touches like I've improved some of French, German & Dutch teams that finished in the top four of their leagues.
And I've given top scorers of each league the special "scoring" ability.
But I haven't added any of the newly promoted teams on the file, I'm afraid. At its no where near as perfect as Watson's mighty files from the past.

OK I've tweaked j708's wonderful OF for those not using Kit Server.
I've created kits for all the new teams in game, plus updated many many more.

I've also tried to give the new clubs stadiums close to their real ones.

I've also added a few more transfers, players, tidied up the squad line ups, a few appearances and improved certain teams and players.

Its a PC OF, but you should be able to convert it for the PS2/Xbox by

But I know someone else who wants the same thing. If they manage to do it. I'll ask them to upload the OF.

I managed to convert marenasapi's xbox OF for my PC with the PESFan editor 5, by opening a PC OF first, then converting marenasapi's.
But I think its different for WE9.

It must be possible though, as I'm sure Watson use to do it for his OFs.
If I find out, I'll post the info on here.

From the PESFan Editor Help:

Saving / Converting files

1. Use Open...in the File menu to open a file (OF1)
in the format you want to covert to (eg. if you want
to convert a file to PC format, open a PC file.)
2.Use Open OF2...in the File menu to open the file
you want to convert
3.Use the Convert OF2> OF1 option in the Tools
menu to convert
4.Save your converted file

are you using and action replay? if so, the memory card that comes with it is garbage. Make sure you are using an original xbox memory card. I had a huge problem until I went out and bought a microsoft brand memory card

how are you getting any option file to your xbox without an action replay? Sounds like you have a modded xbox. If so, I'm not sure how you get the file to work. You'll need to check with other forums on this site to get help. So at least download the newest version of ISS' file untiln you get it figured out

I personally use a Datel Action Replay and its never given me any issues. I've used mine sinc we8/pes4 and swear by it

I converted the xps file to max and the option file doesn´t load aswell.

So there probably is something wrong with the file.

Niras if u r updating ur Xbox option file, the best way to use is Max Drive for Xbox. Its easier....i've done it.

I'll just wait until after the window and then get that final update. Thanks. I hope that they figure out a way to get an option file onto the 360 when 9e7/we11 come out. At least the Europeans have about 5 months to figure that out.

For instance, Marcelo Mattos, he is on Pananthiakos (sp?). His growth curve starts at about 85 and goes to the high 90s and stays there until he is about 35. The there is Kerlon (Free Agent). That guy is known for just his stupid seal dribble (see it on youtube), yet he gets around 90 also. I'd like to see him try that in the Premiership (his knees would get sawed off). Jo is another on CSKA Moscow.

Once we get the new file from J708. I'm going to run through my file and roll back some of these players' stats.

I just seems weird to me that these players stats overall are better than the likes of Rooney, Eto, Messi, etc.

Anyways, Tottenham just went up 1-0 on Fulham gotta go.

I haven't really had time to play or go through the file properly, but I can't say anything though, as I've exaggerated the stats for Spurs and
Peru on mine! (I like Peru for some reason.)

Aw man I tried to give the default ML team players a visual/stat tweak, it seem OK yesterday, but when I tried it again today all the players had disappeared when I started a new ML and are all blank "edited" players with 50 stats in everything!? :sad:
Its a pity as it was looking good yesterday, I gave some of the older players grey hair! :D

Oh well it was worth a try, lucky I have my original file as back up.

How to transfer the OF onto you Memory Card/Hard Drive:

Using Xbox Max Drive...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Make an archive (zip file) of the folder called UDATA
3. Drag this newly created zip file onto your maxdrive using the software.
4. Connect your maxdrive into one of your Xbox controller ports and load up PES5.
5. On the PES5 menu screen, go to Options > PES Data Control > Copy Saved Data. Then select the ‘Change’ option, and select the Datel Max Drive from the list.
6. Select the PES5 Option file present on the max drive, and then choose a slot on your hard drive to save the option file.
7. Once you have saved the file to your xbox hard drive/memory card, return to the main game menu and let play begin!

Using PS2 Max Drive...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Select and drag the .max file onto the max drive software.

Using PS2 X-Port...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Import the .xps file into your X-Port database using the X-Port software
3. Select and choose the 'Restore' option to transfer the option file onto your memory card.

Using PC...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Copy the file entitled KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT and paste it into the folder My Documents > KONAMI > Pro Evolution Soccer 5 > Save > Folder 1

As highlighted in bold, the save folder above is located in [B]My Documents and NOT the Konami folder in Program Files.

The file MUST be entitled KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT for it to work, so do not change the name of the file.

Note: If you already have an existing option file on your memory card or hard drive, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it. If your current file is one you might want to go back to then you will want to back the file up first, before transferring this Option File.

To unzip a file you will need to download WinRar or Winzip if you haven't got one of these already.

If you follow these instructions, you should have no problems.

How to transfer the OF onto your Xbox 360:

With just the XSATA (http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/produ...l=1&ProdID=403) attached between my 360 and my PC, I used the Xplorer360 software on my PC which allows you to view the contents of your 360 harddrive and I....

Selected "Drive" > "Open" > "Harddrive or Memcard...." from the Topbar menu

Went to drive "partition 3"

Drilled down the folders into "Compatibility/Xbox1/UDATA/4b4e0030/" ("4b4e0030" is the 360 folder name for PES5)

Deleted the folder "5252897584A1" ("5252897584A1" being the 360 and Xbox folder name for the Option File I think)

Replaced it with the "5252897584A1" folder of my desired Option File ("5252897584A1" folder contained only a "saveimage.xbx", "SaveMeta.xbx" and .xsv file)

....then switched on my 360 to at last have this wonderful Option File working!!!!

I used the above technique with a USB Memory Stick and Max Drive /AR Software. This hardware worked for me when softmodding my xbox. However, I get an error when trying to load the option file saved on the stick. It says that the save has been corrupted and the data cannot be loaded.

I also tried FTPing the relevant files into the correct folder but I had no luck. Do you know why I might be getting this error and what I can do about it?

don't unzip the file... that's where u went wrong. u can either open the maxdrive program and drag the zip file in or copy the zip file to the save folder.

I can't make the x-port file for PS2 work. Game can't find the option file. Does it work with european version of the game or am I doing something wrong? Can someone help me, please.

quite frankly this is the worst patch for pes5 i have ever seen. The players attributes are all wrong, as are their positions. Most of the clubs are in stadia that look nothing like their own. msot of the formations are completely incorrect. The players have become unresposive and sluggish. All in all if someone is looking for a patch for pes 5, look somewhere else.

Also, i wanted to ask you about "option file 0.95": In ur first screenshots, there are the leagues's logos. but in my game, there is nothing. Is it normal?

About conversion:
Really sorry guys, I just know how to convert Pc file for: Xbox, xbox_360 and Ps2 (using PesFanEditor).
My Psp version was maded for raverjoe; (maybe he could help you).
[ I don’t know if is possible to create a “real” We9 version , or if is there a convert tool for that]

I think my next/last version will be season 08/09.
steevn; I use DKZ or GGS (GameGraphicStudio) to import the real leagues's logos in my first screenshot. So, if in your game there is nothing -yes it’s normal! I guess you have default logos.

Thanks for doing this, j708... it's interesting to play WE9/PES5 with the current season's teams/players (well, last autumn's anyway).

I don't mind not having the winter transfers, especially if you might do one last OF for the 08/09 season. That should tide me over until next March when PES 2009 comes out... hopefully with a lot of edit capabilities!

Considering that the thread was started back in July of 07, and Anelka was not signed until the 08 january window, I probably think it's safe to assume that this file is not as updated as you may need it to be.
