Does anyone know the general release date? I hope it will be in October because I can't wait so long for it!

the release date for europe is the 26th october, although like last year the game will be made available on the 24th in most stores. And it will be released in North America in January.

I heard it was a "Winter 2007" release date for North America. So, maybe it'll be in time for the holiday season, like November.

Just buy the game from Ebay, you can get it Oct 24th I ordered it from there. I didn't want to wait until who know's when?

Whats the marketing genious behind releasing the same game in the US 3 months later that is region free?(PS3) PLUS the competition is releasing their game world wide in OCT. Makes little sense to me, but oh well, I'm importing the EURO GAME!!

I've been asking this question for weeks, no one seems to know (canada or USA vs EURO players) I would guess YES since its region free. My question is whthere we willb e able to play vs US players when the US game comes out if we get the EURO version.

Hey man i'm just hoping that the Xbox 360 version of the game will be Region free ALSO!!!!!! or else that would suck man. hopefully it's all compatible!

360 is not region free, sorry only the PS3 version will be.
