My vote goes towards Del Piero.

He has a more creative team that is well capable of opening up Joel's team. I think Del Piero's attacking options wins him this game. Kaka, Simao and Martins are all deadly attacking. Pirlo would be a handful behind them spraying the passes about.

Though Joel definetly has a team that is able to challenge Del Piero and keep him on the back foot. With David Villa and Kanoute upfront he should be able to get a goal or two. I predict a 3-1 win for Del Piero.

1-1, Del Piero would get a lot of the ball but Joel will sit in and make it very difficult for them to play their game, Frings and Marquez would do a good job of cutting out the ball out. Martins pace would be neutralised somewhat by Joel's deep line and Richards' own pace, though he would still be one to watch. Mancini is very good, and very quick, he would get the ball ontot he counter quickly and with Villa and Kanoute up top Joel can cause problems against virtually any defence.

Del Piero to pressure, but Joel will take the lead through a good counter-attack... but I can't see Joel holding out for the whole ninety minutes, so Del Piero equalises.

Joel for me.

Although this was a very tough one to decide. Both back lines are good but it is the attacking options that I find very impressive. For Del Piero both Zanetti and De Rossi would sit back and protect the defence well allowing Pirlo more freedom to distribute the ball around the park and Kaka and Simao are capable of breaking down any defence put in front of them. Either via a lovely pass forward supplying Martins and making use of his pace or a wonder strike I feel they could score a good few goals.

With that being said Joel has a lovely team and the partnership of Frings and Marquez would be solid and would break up play and make key interceptions. By doing so they could then make the use of the wingers who I both rate really highly and then supply the deadly front line who have goals in an abundance between them.

I really like Del Piero’s subs however Joel takes this for me as he has a stronger partnership in the centre of defence and has two goal machines leading the attack who are bound to get a lot of goals through the supply of the nippy wingers.

Another tough match here. Very good players in both teams, but I decide my vote for DP as I think that his midfield looks very solid to stop Joel attack, also with Van Buyten and Cordoba as CBs.
DP an advice: Zannetti is much better as RB, I think that you have to use him there.

DP gets my vote.

His defense is better, but by a small margarine, and his midfield to me can really take control of the game. I can see Joel's midfield struggling in the center of the pitch and on the left side of there defense where Pannuci and Richards are. 2-0 to DP is what I would predict this game to be.

Nedy; Zannetti plays RB and DMF very well. Either of those positions ill do him well.

Both even teams, but Joel gets my vote.

Solid defence that has a bit of pace in it, two good central midfielders of Frings and Marquez that will protect the defence while still being able to get forward and help out in the attacks, two great side midfielders that are both capable of sending in great balls throughtout the whole match and both will no doubt get an assist and then a partnership of David Villa and Freddie Kanoute, both have the capabilities of getting a goal a game.

Close game, but 1-0 to Joel for me.

Very close indeed. As the votes are even and a little way away from the next threshold, I think I'll get off the fence and go for Joel. A slightly better defence in my opinion and a slightly better balance through the midfield and forwards. DP's team looks very good too, of course. Both sides should do well this season.
